Just in case someone else is looking for the answer...
Auto-flowering plants do not need to be given 12 hours of light/12 of darkness to induce budding/flowering, they flower after a set time no matter what.
These are strains that have been cross bred with a Ruderalis strain which have this time based flowering quality. It is the only desirable quality of the Ruderalis you want.
