Reefer-ee Memo -

Some questions came in about the photos for the pole.
Last second photos count.
If you're working up a fancy picture, or one that you want to keep a secret for awhile... fine. Just publish it within this thread (even seconds) before you send it to me.

MOVIES -

NOT ALLOWED as your main photo.
Links to the movie(s) are allowed as "suporting" photo only (of the 5).
If you use 3 movie links,, you only have 2 places open for pictures.
Again, must be within this thread even if only seconds before I recieve them.

PS;
Something to think about... how likely is someone voting likely to open the movie link???? (could be a plus,,, may not be)

Teflondummy - You may also include photos, etc. of your seeds / etc. Although you've finished early, still very much in it.

Hope this clarifies a few things.

Oh, also,,, after the voting starts,, if you wish to include additional photos / movies / charts / graphs / etc. in a response / answer,, there is no rule against it.

Very important you understand this is a Mortal Combat free for all.
Fold.... spindle.... mutilate
Go get them votes!

Thought for the day;
"Without the bad times,,, even the good times would be Ho-Hummm."
Enjoy the trip. That's the real prize.

I thought about that, but I don't think light stressing will work on an autoflower... Thinking about trying to make some colloidal silver, or finding some gibberlic acid. Of course, that would require me making a new reservoir for one plant. I don't want them all going hermie.
On second thought, I'm gonna just grow them out. I got some good genetics to play god with in the BHD. I will get something different when I get bored with it.

She's so pretty!! My girl's leaves have started to change color. Her seeds are crowning everywhere, and some of them are mammoth. The one in the picture (#3) is the largest seed I have ever seen, almost like 2 seeds merged together to form one giant one.
I also included one that I missed on my pollenation day update. I can't believe that I didn't post it then. It looks so funky.

those dirty nijas tried to strip me of my pride, then just as i was showing all of my sexy parts, they tried to burn them off with acid and if that was not enough they tied me down to keep me from excaping.

and even after all of that, i still triumphed in the end. finish them!!!! so i ate them, and just a few bits left over for later.

question, does the bud tast like garlic or does the garlic tast like bud?
 Neither, just gives me the munchies when trimming. (make me feel Italian too. ;-)):weed:

Actually,, in the past, garlic has saved my grow sooo many times,, I don't dare grow without it (just like the peroxide).

She is done. Took a couple more pics and then gave her the chop. Already got a good number of seeds. Many of them are giant. I think my theory of two seeds merging is correct. You can clearly see that they each have 2 halves. Cannot capture it on my camera. Hopefully they will be capable of sprouting about the same time as the other ladies start flowerering in earnest.

Post chop from back side.

Pre-chop, top-down.

No caption needed.

Post trim, with seeds.

Yes I am curious too. No matter what I try the pests come.
For me it was an evolutionary process.

I live in a "warm, dark, moist" area that is prone to all sorts of nasty crap. Had bugs a couple times and what a bitch to get gone.
Each time totally re-clean, spray with neem, etc.
Did some searching, remembering outdoor grow things and such I came to a decision to always add garlic to the grow (along with the peroxide, airated water, bake the soil, etc.).
Never a bug issue in the grow since.
Nice thing about the garlic,, many strains are tempermental so essentially if the garlic grows fine,,, the herb grows good.
Garlic reacts to any sudden change / deficiency / nute lock / etc. before it shows in the MJ thus giving me time to react accordingly.
Also as the garlic tops grow, I'll snip off the tops and deposit on the soil.
Really puts out the oder and as most Rose (etc.) gardeners know,, it repells most bugs. Also camos the MJ smells some.
In conjunction with the peroxide it seems as effective as the high dollar (sometimes hard to find) bug juice.
I'll also munch on some while trimming or add it to salads / cooking. So it's not wasted and serves several purposes.

Do you grow the garlic from seed or do you pick it up somewhere and just plant it in? My wife loves garlic and I am constantly having pest problems so I will have to try this out..

Any grocery store as long as it's fresh and not too dried out.
One bulb,, break off cloves and plant as you go.
Root end down and just below dirt level.

Get mine at Walmart Super Stores.

Pests? What are those? Seriously though, I have yet to have a pest problem, except fot the ocassional housefly that is attracted to the light when I open the cabinet. Probably because my box is airtight and my air intake and outlet are both filtered. I built a custom filter housing/light baffle for the intake that uses a standard furnace filter, and the outlet goes through a carbon filter. Also being a hydro operation helps by not giving them soil to live and breed in.

I have a whole ecosytem in my grow tent. It is 1 uninsulated wall away from being out in the back yard. heh
I have fungus gnats and some small moth like critters along with house flies and other stuff attracted to the stinky organics. 2 weeks ago I saw something out of the corner of my eye and thought it was a mouse. I investigated and found 2 little lizards found there way inside. They wander between the 2 tents and outside. I haven't found the poop yet but they do eat insects, brown anoles.
