BHD2 is looking a bit stretched at the moment. I believe this to be a result of not transplanting it from its germinating tray soon enough. Was busy with other functions and it had sprouted for nearly 2 days before I could get to it. It appears to be recovering fine and is begining to thicken up a bit. It has dropped its seed case and the leaves have spread out. Temps have been fluctuating between a high of 74F and a low of 60 - perfect. I will try to get a pic of my whole setup posted in the next couple of days.

Ok, I'm in. I was busy over the holidays and got started a bit late. This is my entry, a purple mazar from flash seeds. This is will be my second time growing out this strain. Last time I planted 10 seeds and had 6 sprout. Of those I had 5 females and 1 male. I pollenated 1 of the females for seeds. My current entry is one of those seeds. I got a little over two ounces from the 4 plants and 375 seeds from the pollinated plant.

My grow is in a 20"X20"x30" cabinet powered by a 100 watt mh light and some additional cfls. I'm starting out this seed in a party cup with miracle grow seed starting mix and perlite. DOB 1-3-2011

7! Just took an hour doing my first post and my blasted pc rebooted! Secound to that all week I’ve had no internet connection!!

Anyway here I am finally!, sadly my wife wont be joining us as her seed died! She was rather gutted to say the least!

So my entry is Lowlifes AK47 auto fem, purely because I got 3.5 oz dry from my Green-o-matic AK47 when all my other autos never reached more than 2 ozs in the same pot, so this time I’ve gone and tried DWC, this will be my first run using this method, atm its going great until I found my res at 29C today! This is my first problem, however ph and e.c is perfect and has not moved a bit in 10 days!

I planted on Christmas day 24/12/10 wasn’t until 8 days later the seed showed, the last few days it has been transferred to the bucket and moved to my lager 400hps wardrobe, with a couple of non autos for company.

Marcus, Try another seed for the wife? I've lucked out before and had seeds germ in under 48 hrs. (Ugly Betty was one)

If you have another seed, Mix a quart of tap / purified water with 2 teaspoons of .03% peroxide, bring to 75-80 deg.
Lightly sand the ridge on the bean. Shake the crap out of the water jug to get some air into the water and soak the seed for 2-4 hrs.
Put the bean between paper towels and saturate with the water mix. Let stand between saucers for a hour and drain. Place in a darker (don't need to be light free) place at 80-85 deg.
You could sprout totally within 24 hrs.
Plant just deep enough to cover seed (barely) once the tap shows. Keep warm 78-85 deg. and you should sprout within hours.
Once green is seen (DOB established) just backfill the seedling as it grows to the false leaves.
Worth a try?
Generally I'm 32-48 hrs total this way (but not always - need fresh seeds to begin with).
Better hurry - She has until midnight tomorrow to show green.

if your referring to the stones, then these are diahydro growing medium set in a 6 inch pot, 27 litre DWC bucket. took a long time to sprout granted, but has grown the first pair of true leafs very quickly, I have always used the paper towel method, but this time i wanted to try everything a new way, germ, nutes, medium, enclosure and growing system. This is a new way for me, in the last 6 months i have harvested 27 oz from every auto I can get my hands on, in 9 litre pots of soil.

I have now come to a conclusion as regards the high temps in res, I’ll be putting a small frozen bottle of water into the res and hope this reduces temp, high res temp = poor yields/root rot

ahhhh lol Im going mad, All dates wrong! I was meaning 2011 !! lol plus uk date is the other way round to the USA so DOB 01/06/11!! lol

LOL!,,, I'm not splittin hairs on DOB. Being "worldly" I know the time zone thing. I'm allowing a "fudge factor" but it's not over 24 hrs.
If you set the time zone up in your "personals(or whatever) your rock solid.
