Auto Flowers out door?

Hey guys I was wondering does anybody know for autoflowers out doors if they are typically started indoors? I know the question is very basic and with photo periods I do it all the time. But here is why I ask; It is my understanding that autoflowers should always be planted in there final pot and when I do them indoors I typically put them in 2-3gal pots because space is limited. I have just germinated a few and put them in 2 gals but I have decided in a few weeks or a month I really want to put them out side to free up some space, I was hoping to the increase the pot size to a 5gal+ and try to let them get huge. But will that stunt them more?

So my final question really is if I move autos from indoor to out door is it worth the transplant or should I just leave it in the 2 gal?

I was worried my auto would be stunted by a transplant from inside to outside WHILE she was in preflower. She took it fine and actually grew way stronger. And that's in preflower. So transplant her anytime during veg and you'll be fine. Watch out though, autos go into flower quickly!

I had 3 last year my first autos I was worried about the amount of sunlight they were getting they did fine. I started all three outside transplanted 2 of them into the pot they finished in the third one I transplanted twice and noticed no difference in the growth when compared to the others
Good Luck!
