auto purple kush keeps growing!!!

So I'm like 40 days into veg on my auto pk.
I know it's a auto flower because the sex was shown way b4 30 days and without light cycling change. It's been about a 2 week since pre flowers popped out. And she hasn't started to really full on flowering yet. I hear your suppose to keep it on the same light cycle from seed well that's what I'm told. I have been in 20 n 4 since seed. But something in my inner gut tells me to go 12 n 12.
Will that speed up the blooming process because for autos she is flowering kinda slow. I never grew autos so any info will help.

Keep her on a 18/6 light cycle (my preference) don't be fooled by the delay, not all Autos finish in 60 days.
There is a delay between pre and full bloom, ride that time out and be patient. Switch to a 1-1-1 ration with the nutes during this time. Then when she starts to show signs of full bloom change your nutes to flower.
Autos have a short life cycle but can go into 100 days plus!
I just finished an Auto Amphetamine from seed to harvest in 101 days and yielded 10 OZ from 1 plant. She did the same as what yours is doing. My advice be patient and stay away from the 12/12 and the 24/0 light schedules, 18/6 is where it's at.
And I am sure someone's going to post that I am wrong and you should do this or that !!! Dude keep it simple, enjoy the process and be creative with your grows. No two grows are the same !

It may get 3-4 ft and go 100+ days. Its a good thing, don't worry. I prefer to break my light cycle up for autos. 6/1 four times a day.

Mid day depression. Every notice how plants slump toward the end of the light cycle? It has been working well. Nothing scientific but it seems to be they grow faster.

It will help heat issues to. Less time for heat to build up.

Hey if it works for you then Hell yea. I could see that being good for the hot climate grows (like mine) I am an outside the box guy. I but my whole DWC from scratch, I took something from every concept and made my own shit. Thats what was fun. I mixed nutes and tried different things as well.

Auto Amphetamine 101 days, 10 OZ dried and curing

U guys gave me alot of very useful info but unfortunately the 100+days is crazyness my tent is only 60in tall. I got auto pk cuz it was suppose to be a small breed. But I guess I'll just have to deal with it because one of my Pks is freaking huge taking up half of my tent in veg mode. And I'm kinda pissed because I just got this tent just to grow the purple kush out all the way. My tent is 48x32x60 and it looks like imma have a height and width problem. And of course I did no LST or anything. Should've topped it. I always screw up with underestimating size they get in bloom.

Don't top !!!! but you can still LST your girl. Set up an upper SCROG net and spread her out, pull the main cola off to the side. I grew this one in a 32x32x60.
I had to modify special light brackets to raise my light higher. I switch from LED to a Cool Tube just for that reason.
It's tight but roll with it..

I had the same problem. I had to remove my LED and go to a 600 w round cool tube and I still had to make short custom brackets for it. It sits 2 inches from the toptions now. It's stationary! Vented on both sides and separate vent for carbon filter and fan.

sweet setup bro I just learned exactly how to correctly ph/ ppm/ec my plants and humidity/ temp all balanced 24/7 recently. I just need a dope ass set up.
I want to try and work with co2 next. What do u think about those bags of co2.

Hey they work. I used one and still have it. Before I went with a tank and control that's what I used. In a tent with exaust fan running you need to put the bag next to the plant. . Down low! Let the fan pull the C02 up through the plant and out. They do exactly what they are supposed to do.
Regarding the set up..
Take your time getting items, keep it simple. You can get most the items local.
