Auto vs female

Which makes me think photos might benefit from ramping up the light cycle in the last week or two not shortening it...
your going to have to try it . in your grow the problem is there are so many people indoor farming have no idea what they are doing and a few that act like they know and only a few that have any idea at all . so its hard to filter out what is correct . I just try it all my self to see what is what . one major reason I like shorted light cycle end of harvest so I can crank the ac very cold with out the lights heating the room . so idk I know what works best for me is not always the best for everybody else ,

you cannot try everything, even then your conclusions will be so inaccurate that they cannot be used for future reference. So you bump up the AC and shorten the light cycle and end up with dank nugs, and link this to that but you are not certain if there is a link except by doing a controlled side by side. Knowing how and what to use as good info, is the most important thing. I have done side by sides, and reached to the conclusion that on the contrary, cold weather stunts and diminishes bud growth and promotes thick bud veins, a very undesirable thing.

Lengthening the photoperiod of the flowering plant was done on an experimental level and it was done during the peak flowering and not at the end. It is done by giving the plant something like 21/12, which kept them flowering as long as they received the 12hour darkness. I tried it when i was newb, i could acknowledge that the plants kept flowering, but because i was so new, i could not at all determine if there was an increased yield, but it only makes sense that there is. There is the link to the data, notice it is titled as experimental and not fact, so use it wisely https://overgrow.com/t/how-do-i-manipulate-the-photoperiod-for-larger-yields-on-planet-ito/479

Merely just pointing out a direct correlation between lowering light cycles in auto flowering and yeild, the biochemistry of autos dosent differ that much to photos.

Its really cold here, wont be having heat problems till late April at best!

i dont know if its the strain or because of the 12-12 but my autos are not growing any new fan leaves....since they started flowering they just flower...But the buds are getting bigger than a 100mm joint paper lol....They kinda grow short bushy and heavy...

Most likely due to the short light cycle they're on

I would say it's because once the plant starts flowering that's pretty much all it wants to do. There's always a stretch when you switch to flower but once you start getting pistils you stop getting vegetative growth, right? Maybe I haven't been paying enough attention to my grows to notice and I'm wrong.

Ohh they are about 30 cm but slowly they seem to bend down...
i don't know anything about autos, but IMO if the light is the issue then the top of your highest buds would also be showing some sign of stress, they look good to me. so i would say it's either over fert or maybe the plant has entered an end of life cycle. i imagine autos at some point have to stop growing and start dying, other wise they'd be a perennial.

Thats exactly what i was thinking...over fert can not actually happen cause they got burnt when i was giving them tap water... im feeding them the last month with canna terra flores... they are all growing in the same soil.... and the skunk is flowering and its pretty healthy to me...

i chopper one of the 3 autos....i think i chopped too soon... cause it doesnt really smell like weed...at least not like the weed i was used to buy...
BUT... Its second day its been drying and i weighted it and i got today over 50 grams i know when its fully dry it will be a lot less but who cares im ok with just 25-30 g's ...I smoked a joint and it seems pretty nice smoke and i got stoned enough to forget my half burned joint on the ashtray for over 15 minutes :P ...
And that plant was the less healthy of my autos...i wonder what you can have with a 100% healthy plant :D

50 grams fresh will probably give you about 12 dried, depending on several factors but for a ballpark estimate divide by 4. 12/12 from seed to harvest is all ive done for the past four years, out of necessity, and I can assure you you will waste your time going with autos at 12/12. The main benefit to autos is being able to get multiple crops outdoors, or to get an early harvest outdoors or in places with a very short outdoor season. Autos indoors just doesn't make sense, it's at least 50% more power consumption to get the same or less yield. Autos have their place and are really good for use outside Imo.

here's one that's gone 12/12 from seed in dwc with 600w hps, keep in mind i cut almost two ozs off it at day 70, and haven't defoliated it other than that since birth, besides two leaves that were touching the wall and molding. Also this is a cookies cross, which is a famously mid yielder ive read, girl scout cookies, not this cross.
