I use their regular nutes whcich are "Grow Big," "Tiger Bloom" and "Big Bloom" along with their synthetics which are "open sesame" "Beastie Bloomz" and "Cha Ching"

I also use the full line of fox farms nutrients. I used ocean forest for my first grow and I'm using happy frog for my second.

A 150w HPS is good for a 2 x 2 area and you can grow 4 plants (especially autos) no problem under it. It seems like the 150w HPS sometimes creates airy and fluffy buds, but some people get really nice buds. Therefore, if you have enough grow space, go with a 250w HPS. I have to downsize in tent and light size because I'm moving soon and was planning on buying a 150w HPS, but I'm going to go with a 250w HPS. Don't be cheap when you are buying your setup. Create a plan and go with it.

im looking into an auto strain, i was wondering if running 16 plants in a 3x3 area is too tight for them..?. and any suggested autoflower layout that would be optimal for a 600 watt hps (cooled)...

I'd go 4x4 if you could, and put the plants in 10" pots.

ah ty, i read everywhere that 1/sq. ft is optimal for reg indica doms in sog..... i imagine ill read a hundred more threads about autos before i pick a strain, lol. juss wanna be an informed consumer- good luck op! and to all autogrowers!! tx again!

3x3 should be fine. You don't need 10" pots. Get square 2 gallon pots. I think their about 7 1/2". Should be able to fit them fine. I fit 30 in a 4x4 space with no problem.

for outdoor what whould be a good size gal pot for autos

thx for the input jon, i got sucked into those 2 gallon growbags... saves 40 buxx... full theyll run roughly 7.5" n diameter... ima pack 18 of em in there n see what happens...SOC= sea of colas!

I would use 3 gallons for outdoor.
