Autoflower, Coco Loco Only?

Sup y'all, about to run some autos outside and am trying to figure out a water-only system. I've heard autos require less nutrients than photos, and to stay away from anything too 'hot'. Coco Loco (Fox Farm Bush Doctor) includes: coco coir, perlite, worm poop, bat poop, composted forest humus, dolomite lime for pH balance. Will this be enough for a 2 month cycle for autos? If not what should be supplemented?

Not a lot in coco loco. More of a seed starter. I did a run with ocean forest and 420 fast buds. That auto sucked every nutrient out of the 3 gal pot and I had to top dress.

I would use 5 gal pot with some dry amendments at bottom if I did it again.

I run the coco loco mix and recycle it over and over.... I use about a half tbsp of marine cuisine top dressed to get things started, then finish with just water and some liquid fish/floralicious plus fulvics and a bi-weekly compost tea brew. I make a dry blend mix similar to the roots organics uprising bloom mix and put a tbsp at week 2 and week 4 of flower.

What's 420 fast buds? Seeds from Fast Buds? Couldn't find much in way of google search. Thanks for the perspective on coco loco and OF. What did you top dress with?

Do you think it might be possible to mix coco loco w a fair bit of marine cuisine at the start of the grow to last the whole cycle?

Thanks for the insight on your loco grow

Yeah my bad. 2 fast 4 buds is their technical name but the package says 42 fast buds.

I top dress with some worm castings and dry amendments 5-5-5 or something similar to keep it easy if I got a lot going on.

Also autos are kinda unforgiving. You can’t mess up veg or your yield will suffer. Just make sure you have a tested setup.

Just checked the garage and somebody used up all the coco loco. Looks like I'm buying OF. Would you mind sharing your setup? Gonna dig a 5gal sized hole

Use some coco loco and some megacrop, you’ll do fine. You could do coco loco for 3 weeks then start with megacrop or feed a small dose of mega and up it every week. I love the loco

Yah that will work if you are using some organic calmag like g.o. calmag or roots organics calmag and some liquid fish/molasses to feed your soil. I like to use neem meal too for quick N boost. If you can get some worm castings I like to use a lil of that too.

I made a batch of super soil years ago and use it in layers when I start new plants in 3gal fabric pots.

A lil marine cuisine goes a long way and if you are using it in small amounts it won't harm your microlife. When I recharge mine I'll add the organic items found in supersoil and let that cook in a tub for a few weeks.
