Durban I believe is like pure sativa

I would think about maybe tying it down or LST or something, if it is unchecked it may get way taller than your other plants

That front center plant looks rather indica-y though, may not be a problem

I have a 2.5x2 and just went through my first grow with two 5 gallon smart pots (fabric). This gives you a lot of soil to work with and enough room on the ground to have some air movement at the base of the plants. Additionally, larger pots let you water/feed less often, so I can go somewhere for the weekend and not worry.

You appear to have made the same mistake I did: "Oh, I don't have to flip the lights? Those must be easier!" - but I was unable to tell when it actually started flowering so my nute regimens were crap.

However, I pulled a little less than a QP (3.7 oz) off of my two plants, so good luck.

Yeah... They are Durban autos, just a bit younger than the nirvana short riders. Hopefully they will take off. I'm a big sativa fan....

End day 27. I also purchased 2 x 12 watt LEDs running with the HPS. I thought I might leave the LEDs on during the dark period and just turn off the HPS. Any thoughts? You can only notice the LEDs when the HPS is off

Should I start defoliating ?

I wouldn't defoliate/prune. Most people don't bother defoliating/pruning autos unless there are bad leaves cause it can stress the plant which can stunt growth and as autos are on a timer that's never good.

When's the new tent coming? You just got to much in a tent that size and it's only going to get worse as time goes on. I think with the amount you have space could still be an issue later on in your new tent too. But if you could get another light you could keep 2 maybe 3 at a push in your old tent. Something you need to think about now.

Thanks man - new tent comes on 12/24. I didn't realize at the beginning how much size these plants would take up. I definitely will think about keeping both tents going!

I know it's prob no big deal, but for my first time growing, it's pretty cool seeing the buds starting to take shape. Having paid $350 an ounce for the past two years, it seems surreal that I won't have to be buying weed anymore.

Seems too good to be true.....I hope it is true though.... Limitless supply of personal weed and an extra $400 cash each month (in savings from not having to buy bud) to spend on other things....this is legit man


Any similar stories from you guys? In how growing your own weed changed your life for the better? Merry Christmas (eve) fellas!

We don't sell any but always have some now, which is nice. Still buy a g or some hash every now and then at the weed stores just to try stuff out. I like to try strains I'm growing at the time to see how mine stack up, lol

Growing it gets to be just as fun as smoking it though - I love seeing em when the lights come on every time

I agree - the growing is fun. I don't plan to sell either. Just smoke and save cash!

Thanks to the Christmas madness, my new big tent won't arrive until next Wednesday. Not so great as two of my plants have already grown above the sides of my lamp.

Middle of week 4 now and the buds are small. Will bud growth explode before the life of this auto flower is done in the next month?
