that is true
You have to admit that it is really hard to fathom that a pot plant won't stink! I'm not saying its not true as I have no ideal. New (if in fact new) concepts are sometimes takin with a grain of salt. If you have ideals that are sound perhaps trying to sell the concept on a forum of people helping each other (well most of the time lol) for free, re: a book, takes away from the legitimacy of your ideals. Just my 2 cents! So, tell us more lol.

Let me ask you this, have you gone to the site I linked and seen my setup with the tanning booth? How many "experts" would tell you you could grow plants like that with T5's over 2 feet away from the canopy? http://growhappyplants.com/

I spent years here teaching new growers, all the info is here just read threads started by Riddleme, I left and started my own site 4 years ago mostly because of the (most of the time) thing you pointed out . Not one untrue post there, no one uses the plant problem thread, every one gets along and shares info about everything.

Over 3000 hours of research, and years of actual experiments and testing and you begrudge me writing a book about it?

I didnt mean to begrudge you at all, if I did sorry! Just pointing out that it looked a little suspect flogging it on a forum is all! I didnt go to any links other than to see info on book. And also I did say, I did not, not believe what you are saying. So really no need to defend the legitimacy of your claim. Perhaps defending your marketing approach would be a more direct response to my post lol.

Not even marketing it yet, hell I just finished that site and google hasn't even listed it yet, had no idea there was so much involved in publishing a book LOL

I linked the site to show the pics, did not want to put the pics here, if that makes sense

Also being a newb to the indoor thing I have become a bit suspect with all things related to marketing of all pot. This is due to all of the crap that was sold to me by the "experts" at a few shops. The number of shops I have been to is a very small sampling so really should not base my skepticism on that. Again sorry, was not decrying you making a honest dollar.

hogbud could you please tell me how far one could have a 600w that is hooded away and still be very effective please. I have also noticed a trend of growers saying that placing (especially bare bulb) lamps at a distance that would usually be considered too far away, provides good/superior results.

That is exactly what my book is about, the truth with no crap, I spent years verifying the reality of growing and I do not claim to be an expert, hell I'm still doing research, still doing experiments, still learning !!!

it actually depends on your plants, making adjustments based on response. I teach folks how to read the plants, how to see when they are happy, with light the key is a relaxed, just hangin out chillin look with growth spurt signs of vigor and creating the canopy temp difference I discussed in my thread If your a new grower your gonna want to see this

that's sort of what I'm doing at the moment even though they are very young still if I see signs of heat stress I'm backing the light off a bit or moving my hawaaiin skunk haze that doesn't seem to like the heat as much as my critical haze off to the side a bit
