you can't tell if an auto or photo at this stage

why are you only giving it 12/12?

you should be using at least 18/6 in the veg mode, and if using CFL's, I would suggest 20/4 or 24/0

If you increase your light span, then in a 2 or 3 more weeks it will start to pre-flower if an auto....if it doesn't pre-flower then it's a photo....then reduce to 12/12

If it's under 12/12 you'll never know, because your inducing flowering anyways.

Most bag seed is photoperiod. Autos aren't particularly efficient for commercial growers.

i'm using 12/12 to save energy and also i'm trying to make it small as it can, i'm a new to this, and my first would be 12/12, based on my research 12/12 from seed is okay but lower yield

That is true. 12/12 from seed is fine. But like I said, you'll never know if it's a photo or auto, not would it matter. And with so little light it's really not gonna yield much of anything.

okay...if power consumption is the issue, I would suggest using only one of your light bulbs at 20/4 or 24/0....then add the second bulb when you go to 12/12 for the flower mode

yeah just for a smoke of myself tho as I'm into stealth way of growing bcause i'm living with my parents.

I'm using cfl 23w per bulb, rn I veg her with 2 bulbs, if i see any signs of stretch i'll add another bulb.
you mean i will use 1 23w bulb for the entireveg with 24/0 lights?

If your only using 23w CFLs you really don't need to worry about power consumption, they cost pennies to run.

Want my honest opinion? Don't grow at your parents house if they aren't down with it. Power consumption is the least of your concerns. Just wait till it starts to stink. Or you need to find a place to dry and cure. It sucks, I know, but you'll almost definitely get caught.

I just assumed by the size of your bulbs that they were like 150 watts....I'm amazed they are only 23 watts

if they are in fact 23 watts, you should run them both at 24/0 and just buck up on the power cost

honestly, two 23 watt bulbs is what I would call as way under powered to obtain decent results

yeah odor control i know it, I'm buying a carbon filter tho and some odor neutralizer to prevent spread the odor

yeah just 23watts, there is no point in trying tho xD as a couple of grams will do for me to smoke in months lol
