Autoflower Outdoor??

IMO outdoors is the best application for autos. Unless you have a veg room that you want to make the most out of. Other than that, I don't understand why ppl grow autos indoors when you can just flip to 12/12 after 3-4 week with a photoperiod strain.

Nothing beats having fresh bud in June while everything else is still in veg. They need tons of sun and a good start indoors or else the yields will be disappointing. I've done several auto crops outdoors over the past couple years and have been satisfied every time.

What about autos outside in the uk. Will the weather in may-july cause bud rot or is a more hardy plant needed. Am thinking of doing big bud, auto berry and silver hayes

Considering trying this for the upcoming year. Staggered starts of May and June should hopefully get lots of sunlight and be done by midsummer.

I don't know anyone personally who has done autos outdoors, how big do they get by the end of life just curious?

This needs to be re-iterated, if you don't get them a lot of sun you'll wind up with a limp dick plant that may yield a joint. If you have a sunny area yes you can do it and do it well. I personally like growing mine indoors in 5 gallon smart pots. Under 23-1 lighting I can easily pull one zip if not upwards of two in less than 70 days.

Autos outside typically don't yield as much because the light cycle is natural. Inside I've gotten them up to 80g in 5 gallon pots, have seen others do this as well. Realistically outside maybe an oz if you're lucky. Like I said above they need a lot of light or they will really live up to their dwarf namesake.

I grew 3 easy ryders ourside last summer. I started them may 29th and put them in 5 gallon pails on june 12th. They were harvested august 29th. I got 4.5 oz from the three of them. they were grown in fox farm ocean forest and fed full strength technaflora recipe for success flowering nutes as soon as they started flowering.

these pics were taken 4 weeks before harvest.
