autoflower planting

Hey everyone!

So I'm planning an outdoor auto flower grow. I've worked through most of mental planning stages but am stuck on one thing in particular. Getting my girls sprouted and into the ground. I'm stuck between germing and planting right into a "big" pot, 3 gal. possibly OR germing into a small pot or cup and then switching to the 3 gal or maybe right into the ground. It will certainly be hard to trek multiple 3 gal pots into my grow spot, but I do want them to live and get best yield i can. I've heard that starting an autoflower in a small pot can stunt it and I certainly don't want that. I could plant them right into the ground too I suppose but will they survive? :/

Thanks to all willing to share their thoughts! :blsmoke:

right in the ground. your gonna have to water and feed them after the first week. i soak mine in water for a few hours. before i pop them in the ground. about 18inch apart. i also us good potting soil in a trench for them. i just ran a set of ak and low ryder 2 in my grow room for seed. i have about 900. i plan on puting them out next week.

Thanks for the feedback, 900 seeds sounds awesome! I've only got six :/ so I'm trying to give em the best chance I can. I think I'm going to prepare the holes ahead of time and plant my girls in them right after germ. Does this run a higher risk of them dying?

Btw hairy crack is no fun!
