AutoFlower PPM Ranges

As a good average starting point for autos I start at ~250ppm in veg and ~500 ppm in flower. These starting points have worked well for me with my autos. Each strain is different of course and mediums, nutrients etc,but this has been a good starting point for me.

So my question....
When working in ppm do you still make up nutrient as according to brand instructions, then water it down if too high?
I have never used one and a mate is gifting me one soon.

Make sure you follow the manufacturer s correct RATIOS.So to answer your question yes you can just water it down.

Lol..... Im sure there is more to it than this but i like to learn so it will be fun.
I have never used one. I grow in soil and I just start my doses low and go up in small increments untill plants arent affected by manufacturers recommended full dosage. Simple really and have always had brilliant results.

Every strain is different and the nutrient requirements can vary widely.
It will also vary with the brand of nutrients you use, or what kid of water you're using.

I grow large autoflowers, and I can NEVER push past 600 ppm in full bloom using General Hydroponics nutrients.
I give them nothing for a few days and then start them on 150ppm for about a week.
I usually push that to 400 for a week after that.
By day 30 I'm usually at 500 and won't push too much further past that until bloom.

Your schedule will be totally different.

To be safe without burning your plants.
Here's a pretty safe schedule. Although in hydro you should know how to read your plants and know what they need from movements in PPM, and PH.

1- 100
2- 200
3- 400
4- 450
5- 500
6- 525
7- 525
8- 525
9- 550
10-550
11-400
12-0

Also, if those plants will be sharing a reservoir you will want to run a bit lighter on nutrients in order not to burn weaker plants.
You just kind of have to play the middle ground with that many auto's.
If you're growing them all in separate bubble buckets..... Have Fun checking/adjusting water level, PPM, PH and res changes.

Peace.

These numbers, are they what my solution should be in the can (pre-feed), or (post) what the runoff should be?

So you still have the same problem with one res because if you underfeed to compensate for weak plants you will be underfeeding the strong yielding potential of the stronger plants.

Im running 900ppm or 1.8 EC on my autos in hydro and in soil!!! They are beasts!! No burn at all!! Using GH trio with sensizym and botanicare cal mag!! They are beefin like crazy!! I have a 22 inch tall plant in 30 days!! Never had one grow so fast!!!

Alright sounds good, so around 100ppm max will be sufficient for seedlings? What nutrients do you guys use on your autos? Just wondering. I am thinking of going with Fox Farm's line, along with Cha Ching Open Seasame and Beastie Bloom. Might pick up general organics Go Box for their CaMg+ and their Bio Root. Seem to be beneficial products. Thoughts?
I will be using Megacrop once my baby is ready for her first meal in a few days, I divided what the bag said by 4, so she will get 1 gram in 1 gallon of water for her first few feeding depending on how much she grows.

The last 2 week I’ve been hammering 3 Girl Scout cookies autos from fastbuds with 12-1400 ppm in coco , multiple times daily , and at 1400 I barely saw tip burn . They’re simply hammering , stacking and frosting like a heavy feeding photo . Thats taking into account my 380-400 ppm tap water , which when added brings me up to 1580-1800 ppm . They’ve seemed to love the higher doses .

I use nectar of the gods organics , but before that I had been feeding tiger bloom, big bloom , beastie blooms and chaching

I can tell you that fastbuds gsc and gorilla cookies are heavy feeders , and I’m assuming their purple banana punch is as well . I’m giving a 600 ppm dose to seedlings , and the fast buds look starving , 3 out of 4 of my speedrun strains look excellent as well. One of the four is burnt , which I assume is from the buffered coco more so than the nutrient solution .

I’m using canna coco with rhizotone , and my fast buds were started almost a week behind the speed run seeds , and these banana purple punch in grodan are catching up insanely fast !! I may keep them in the grodan till they’re fully blown out , if my god particle hasn’t fixed itself then I’ll be swapping if for my fast buds BPP

My Girl Scout cookies have been seeing 1300-1500 ppm for last few weeks and there tyy yo. They’re in coco dtw, 10 gallon pots . I apparently posted twice in here - but left out the other autos !

my gorilla cookies are seeing 1000-1200 ppm now , and are in 10g fabric pots as well , but with amended soil , that contains bone meal , blood meal , dolomite lime and Gaia green all purpose . So not only are they eating well from the soil but taking a heavy dose of nectar of the gods daily .IMG_2486.jpegIMG_2485.jpegIMG_2484.jpegIMG_2482.jpegIMG_2483.jpegIMG_2475.jpegIMG_2467.jpegIMG_2459.png
