my afghan kush ryder should have finished march 1st, but the month of feb was spent in 12/12. I need to know what i should do to try to fix this? should i just wait till a certain amount of the trichs turn amber, or compensate by a certain amount of time specifically? it looks very pretty, who knows maybe this will make it better from shocking the system or something. i turned it too 12/12 after they had already started flowering(I was forced too)

Don't go by "should have been done by". The plant will be done when it's done, period. There is no such thing as a true 60 day finish, or 45 day finish, too many variables in play when growing. The plant will be done when it's done.

i have grown afghan kush ryder before.. the trich's hardly turn amber.. they get to a good cloudy state and thats about it. you can safely harvest them when they stop swelling and the hairs are mostly red.

attached are pics of my afghan kush ryder harvested at 55 days.

I guage my autos by taking the breeders suggested time expectations into account, along with factors such as calyx swell, tric color, receding fur, etc....with several years of auto growing, I've found that most do finish within a week of expected times.....
That being said, as I grow several strains of autos perpetually, I always harvest mine when trics are almost all milky, a few clear, even fewer amber.....gives me a "normal mean".....sativa doms will be sativa doms and indica doms will be indica doms.........

I've just harvested a GHS GOM, and as short stuff auto assassin,.....both of which were 60days from seed and DONE....there are a lot of autos on the market now that do finish on time.....
