Autoflower seeds, what did you produce?

Now I know auto flower plants are not known for massive yields or potency (just from quite a few Google searches) and my own experince I just recently grew 3 plants I'm curing the buds now but it was a terrible yield didn't get much out of em. But my real question is have you guys ever tried an autoflower and what were your results? Do they have potential under optimal conditions? I grew mine on a windowsill... I know but no £'s atm thanks
 
Gawd thats far from the truth there are some great autos out on the market

yeald check out auto pounder,think different and magnum all can yeald well over a pound in **GREAT** conditions ive done very well with these

And for great autoflwer smoke there is demost,blue mammoth,narcotic kush,hash plant there are a few others that are not comming to mind all these i have grown and or smoke and are top shelf smoke (WHEN GROWN RIGHT)

i have an autoflower out there on the market that is a f1 hybrid (Magnum X Narcotic Kush) called Narcotic Mustache its not feminized its a reg i beleve by releasing autos in non feminized seed they are more stable less phenotypes the Narcotic Mustache has 2 phenotypes Narcotic Mustache was featured Skunk Magazine over the winter full page wright up

With all of that said they have to be grown in good conditions mellow soil lots of the right spectrum of light 18-20hrs and the right amount of nutrients my experience with autos is dont give them any nutes till week 5 and only give them 1/2 strength all the way through flower autos really just want to do their thing and be left alone even more than photoperiods

i honestly dont think a windowsill grow can even compare to a auto grown under 20+ hours of light a day in a dialed in setup ..... its pretty common to pull oz's from the newer strains of some really good smoke .... dont get me wrong google is a useful tool but it is a cesspool of misinformation and out dated info .... you kinda gotta wade through it all
 
I like autos and mess with them quite a bit. What I don't like doing is running lights 20hrs per day due to electricity cost and also due to heat during the afternoons.. Sure, you can yield a lot from them. They need a good start though and they are unpredictable. You could seed an auto then plant 100 of the seeds. You'd have many different looking plants. Some would be runts and others would be rather large.

Overall, they are cool and easy to grow. I recommend them to beginners.

I beleve the unregular groth to be from being fems and not back crossing the genetic to make a true f1 hybrid i have a f1 reg auto its Narcotic Mustache it was in skunk mag over the winter and comming out in a strain guide later this year its got only 2 phenotypes both fairly seminar one with kinda blue tent and real pine smelling/tasting and the second looks similar with more of a kush smell and taste i grow large batches 20+ and they stay pretty consistent

I'm interested in breeding and the meaning of f1 and s1 etc.. What would it be if I put colloidal silver on one branch then pollinated the rest of the same plant? Would this be desireable or less desirable than pollinating a second plant of the same strain?

collodial silver is used to make a plant hermaphrodite

colonial silver is used to make a female hermaphrodite and produce pollen that pollen is put on another female to create fem seeds and i beleve that would be an s1? i dont mess with the GMO fem stuff but i think thats right

An f1 is..... plant A pollinated by plant B those seeds are C males and C females so you take a female C and a male C and breed them together to make F1s to stableize the strain and make it a true hybrid

There are some debate about all of this there is realy no industry standard....yet some say a cross is an f1 and a cross that was recrossed is an f1 hybred some call it an f2 and even an ibl others say a dad and doughter plant is an ibl
 
when you cross 2 different plants you get a F1 .... selfed plant is a S1 ...... there a very few true recognized IBL's and it would be near impossible to do so with a auto

I totaly get what your saying but pollen can be kept for quit some time so its not impossible but its definitely not practical and would take up a shit ton of room and time to do lol but possible
 
What about a white widow XXL from dinafem?
and a big buddah blue cheese?
2 autos what kind of supplemental light can I give these girls to increase yield?
 
You can have an inbred line of autos. You just cross two plants from each generation with each other, or even self one plant from each generation. You don't have to back cross to the father again. That's only if making an inbred backcrossed line.
 
That's all very interesting guys. I am gonna be making some auto reg seeds in the near future. I ordered some kush van stitch regular autos. I plan to cross a male of it with a different strain, not sure what yet though.

As for the original thread question I averaged 2 zips in 73 days with 3 White Widow Autos from Pyramid. These were outside in 5g pots in pretty much full sun. Cheap nutes and soiless mix were used.

The big Buddha blue cheese is top of the line.I've done a couple of runs of it,it doesn't have a big yield about 2-21/2 zips a plant. A little harder auto to grow as it seems some plants in the same run will need a lot of nutes and some very little.I grew them under 24/0 the whole run using roots organic soil and neture of the gods nute adding open seasame and chaching in flower.An easier grow to start might be sweet cheese it's about as easy a grow as you'll get with autos and a good cheese high.
