Autoflower Speedy Gonzales under 250w mh - lst or not?

Hi everybody. I'm growing some autos for the first time in my veg room (20/4), I germinated my speedy gonzales first and now it's about 7 inches with at least 7 nodes. I think it's just starting to flower. The stem is quite thick so lsting might be quite difficult but I'm just a bit concerned that the plant will grow to tall for the light I'm using. My other two autos are fastbuds and they are about a week behind. Soon I'll have to decide whether to lst those as well. How tall does the average auto get in your experience? Can anybody advise me on what I should do? Thank you.

i just grew out an auto and it stayed under 2 feet.

Are you LSTing for height restrictions or bud production?

Hi Blimey, I'm just wondering whether to lst to keep the height down. I think 2 feet will be alright but if it goes to 3 feet then it may make sense to lst. What do you think?

I'm working with a 2 foot height restriction as well with autos and I don't lst for height. What size pots are you using? I'm using 2 gallon and I really don't expect any to get to 2 feet. Make sure you have two feet of growing space. E.G. 2 feet from the soil to the highest point your plants can be at and not burn. My first grow I measured to the light and later on realized I needed at least a foot of space under my 400 lol.
BTW mine are at 5 weeks and just under a foot.

I'm using 2 gallon pots as well so I think I'll follow your advice and leave them to grow naturally.
