OK, this is so weird. I've been suspecting that perhaps my seeds weren't all the same Hindu Kush strain because I have three girls right now ... and one is distinctly different than the other two leggy bitches. I have two that I've actually had to LST to keep them inside my PC grow case and they're only 5 weeks old already. The other one is 7 weeks old and is going to be one big bud while the other two have bud scattered all over the place. So I have no clue what I have. I have a grower friend coming over today and I'm going to get his way-more-experienced opinion.alrite guys here are the photos of my freaking midget auto hindu kush's the biggest one is only 12cms tall "keep in mind they are all 6 weeks old !
Id say that is probably your main issue. I wouldnt say that its the only thing stunting them, but it could be. After 85F the plants arent able to take in C02 like they should, and at 95F they are pretty much just fighting to stay alive and usually not growing at all.well my temps are kinda high and i can see the leaves looking all funny and curling upwards , is this heat stress ? its at 85 F most of the day but it gets to 95 F for about 4 hours a day..and do u think this would be enuff to stunt growth that much
thanks for your help mate , i have a 250 watt hps and its summer time here .. ive switched back to the old cfls i have and that is 2x65watt +1x11 watt all 6500k do u think this is suffiecent light for 4 plants about 3 inches tall ? the girls are in a small closet something like 2foot across and 1foot deep...the temps are back down to about 24 celcius now so il just wait a couple of days and see if that was the problemId say that is probably your main issue. Do you have sufficient exhaust? So I dont have to scroll back a few pages, remind me what lights you are using and what kind of exhaust setup if any that you have. You need to find a way to get some cooler air to those babies throughout the day or they may take a while to finish. 95f is just way too high without a C02 setup, even 85f is about as high as you ever want it in there.
My cab gets to about 63F at night, and 84F at the highest for maybe 2 hours before lights out. The avg temps are 79-80F which is about perfect. The prime temperature for photosynthesis to occur is 76-78F, anything over that and your plants aren't taking in as much C02 as they could outdoors.
Work on those temps first and foremost, and see if it helps at all, but dont be surprised if they dont bounce back real fast as they may be stunted for a while.

Sup scg... id say by looking at yr pics you definate have heat issues as kb said...yr leaves are curling on the edges,, how are they feeling????pictures*********
I'm looking to do some a.f.'s for my next grow and was wondering what is a good container size for one? Growing in soil.
Still go by a half gallon per ft of plant? So about 1gallon, or 6 inch? Can someone help me out. Thanks.
KB, thanks my man. I'm super pumped as well. Breakin my cherry & all. I will follow your advice for a betta close up & hook that up tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for all the kind words!SH2H - Man those babies look great, Im real excited for you. That last pic was the only one that was closeup enough to maybe tell, and it was a bit blurry at that. It will be hard to get a good picture, but the best place to look or try to take a picture of is the underside of any bud on the top half of the plant. You will usually see some calyxes that are more swollen than most.
If you can get a better shot go for it, but they look amazing and DEFINITELY not ruined thats for sure!! Glad the LST worked out for you, I always get more bud off the ones I LST, but it sometimes sucks to miss out on that large main cola. Gotta do what you gotta do though
`SoA - Man those are coming along real nice! Did you start them under CFLs then take them out or are you still using CFLs at times? Either way, that EasyRyder will get you a decent amount of bud for sure. My guess is an ounce dry if Im seeing the picture right. Its about 12" or more tall right now right?

That's frustrating dude, I feel for ya. But I didn't see any evidence of male preflowers, or any banana's at all. So you know you are going to get bud, it's just and matter of if you're willing to see it through the process. Many of these autos, through my shopping of online seeds, are hybrids of indica, ruderalis, and sativa. And being that the "suspect" has started to flower before going to 12/12, it very well could still be an auto.Sup Guys and Gals,
Just lookin for a bit of advice from fellow auto growers.
Ive got 8 Easyryders going at the min in NFT system.
Its day 47 and they're doing alright except for one of em.....
Seems to have female pre flowers and look like a girl to me but just hasn't developed nice juicy flowers like all my other girls.
Personally i think its just a dodgy seed that hasn't got the AUTO traight to it and it needs to go on 12/12 to induce flowering but im thinking bout choppin it down to give others a bit more light to lower nuggs.
Any Help or comments would be great..
Peace..
