Quick question:

How tall can I expect my auto AK47s from lowlife to get under my 400w HPS 20hrs a day?



I have up to 36inches of vertical space that I can use, hope that's enough.

look for seedling soil , its a tad more expensive but worth it

Hi peeps. Sorry to interupt but this of course on topic on autoflower. I'm growing Fast Bud Automatic in a grow box with restricted height. I've got em on 20/4 under a metal halide. Want them to start budding already. Does anyone know if turning to hps will help induce this or is it a matter of tyme? They're doing really so far and have been regulating ph perfectly. I wanted them to grow only 40cm and thus potted them in a 4.5 litre pot. Anyone grown these? I'm also growing white dwarf and easy ryder. Will post pictures.

i would keep the metal halide on until u see it starting to flower then switch , i got told easy ryders were shithouse but i havnt grown it personally

Sup homez!!! If yr looking for a good yeilding, high outdoor sport buzz!!I'd defo reccomend Easyryders,, iv had awsum results with this particular strain albeit mine grown inside,, check out completed sig for results!!!

Sup action.....I'm gathering you mean easyryders?? Lowryder x ak?? If so they can grow anywhere between 6 inch 28 inch,, I to completed a grow with limited vertical space under a 400 whps,, the way I got over this problem was to fix a fan on side of box blowing directly onto the light?? Do you have this option?? It also means you can get the light alot closer than usuall,, i had awsum results... Check out completed sig for more info adios...

Yeah. I'm going to try to design something where I can attach a clip fan to the side of my room and have it point at the light and be able to adjust it up with the light. It would be even more cool to put it on like a sliding vertical track, but not sure if I can figure that one out, haha. Maybe like some sort of pole to attach the clip fan to will work best. The seeds are in a jar in wet paper towels right now germinating. I started them yesterday and I'll prob check them tomorrow and plant them if they've cracked. Have a lot to do though!

if i remember correctly Growlows easyryders yeilded about 60gs dry of each plant. but they looked pretty big

The plants showeds all the signs of flowering. The leaves formed a circular pattern like a giant cola but that was it. Now its almost 8 weeks and nothing. I was looking for some info since I have some plants I want to set on 12/12 but I read that these will not flower at 12 hrs.

Sounds to me like maybe you have a non AF strain. At 4-5 weeks, non AF strains will preflower in veg most times, showing multiple white hairs or small balls. It is hard to say for sure without seeing them, you have any pics? If not, are there a lot of white hairs at each node or just a few? All the way down the plant or just near the top?

As for not flowering on 12/12, an AF strain will flower as long as you give it enough light to live. Meaning, flower time is depicted by the life of the plant, not the light cycle. It should flower around 3 weeks regardless. With a 12/12 schedule however, it is said that AF strains will yield far less than a schedule with more light than dark.

I hung it to dry 5 days, and I no longer needed a grinder after that. Even so, I put it in a jar and opened that jar every day for a week. Should be OK, right? Dry as mummy crap!

Sup.... sounds like your doing everything right to me????The idea of curing is to sweat the gear, then by opening for an hour a day you are letting fresh air back in drying it back out in effect you are sweating the taste into it/out of it,, and in answer to mould,, trust me youl know if you got it!!! if yr really worried post a pic and let us all check it out for ya..Best of luck

I agree totally. When you have mold you'll know it. Plus, with the small plants you have going it should not be a concern. Most of the time mold occurs in large plants where the inner buds dont get much if any air circulation. Also when drying if buds are packed too close together.

Considering you aren't working with monster yields (yet...hehe), you should have nothing to worry about. Just give each large bud a good look every time you open the jar since that is where the mold would usually start. But I have a feeling you will be fine.

Hello again guys, Heres sum pics of my 4 week old snowryder i think im doing ok so far i went out and upgraded to an 200 watt cfl i have been giving ph water around 6.5 i am NOT going to give nutes last girl seemed not to like them much. but sense i put in the light she has shoot off hight wise ... i have one question will this light burn my girl ?i mean if i have to i will raise my light but dont really want to i could tie her down but will it burn i have seen grows where these lights where right in the middle between plants touching...... sum advice..
