Not unless your using a bunch of them, easy way to save electricty, go buy the 24 watt cfls for all your light fixtures, for every 10 75watt bulbs you replace you save around 500watts, sure they cost more then regular light bulbs but they have a way longer life and you save power, well worth it. 200 watts around 15-20 bucks on 24/7

i looked high and low. cant find much at all, prob missed it somewhere though, kinda new to this computer thing. when i googled it it just goes to differnt seed banks. dont get me wrong im a very experienced grower[15 years indoor hydro] just never grown auto's before.i had great white shark before and it blew my mind and thought the idea of it being auto was awsome. would love to do a heap outside blazing sun here in oz so hoping they would yield great. any way ill keep searching an let everyone know if i find anything.

You should treat it like any other auto unless the seedbanks state otherwise. Pot them straight into their final pot from the start. Go easy on the nutes and build up slowly, let them dry out between watering and you should be good to go. Plenty of auto grows on here to read up on, I have 1 in my sig - auto AK
Good luck and post some pics when you get started, you can get help along the way.

gentleman, apologies if I am jackin the thread here, or any other taboo etiquette, but I am in desperate need of some help.
Currently have some auto white russians & auto ak's (lowlfe) goin. GOt all (what i thought) were fem'd beans.
I'm about 3-4 days into bloom (maybe a week since first pre-flowers (not that i really know what i am talkin bout, breakin my cherry here). ANyway, found a male today (I have a very kind soul here on riu that has been helping be immensly, but I'm just lookin for extra input here).
As soon as he ID it for me, I yanked it this morning.
But what is a no BS assessment as to what the probable outcome here is?
I did move the guy around (as he was tall & im obv. a dumbass & coudn't ID), anyway he was gettin close to bulb, so i tied him down, and I believe i saw pollen release when i bent the branch over. which was what prompted me to take the up close shots & have my riu expert ID.
He obv. can't give me any concrete answers (not sure if thats possible @ all)./ I'm just lookin to work off ya'lls experience here & determine what my chances are of having a descent crop, or butkus.
Be candid, sorry again for blowin any protocol, i welcome any & all advice / critiques. Can hook up pics if needed.

showhardtohandle looks like you will have a shit load of seed but if autos are any thing like reg plants you should still pull decent yields if it pollinated early than you removed the male , plus your seed should be ripe under the normal harvest date. only drama will be if you come to sell most people dont like seeds and any one with two cents worth of brains will just grow thoses seeds and stop buying for a while. i would'nt sell it if it had seeds...up to you though.

ive only had 2 harvests so far which i seeded them both , and yeah your yeilds wont get hurt that much and from what i can remember you cant really tell u have seeds until close to harvest

can anyone tell me why my auto hindy kush is growing so fucking slow ! there 3 weeks from germ and there only maybe 3-5 cms tall ! ...although i do have them in cup sized pots i was hoping to grow them out first grab the females then transplant bigger.

yeah judging by the look of that boy and how advanced your girls are they will contain plenty of seeds. the best way to tell if they are gunna have seeds is to wait about a week and a half to two weeks than get your self a little pair of tweezers and pluck one or two of the fatter caylex's off and pull them apart. if you got seeds you will see them buy this stage starting to develope. bear in mind though if your humidity was too high the pollen may have been rendered usless, plus ive had standard females before that were sterile no matter what i tried condition wise and i tried several different pollen sources. hope this helps good luck with it all.oh and your yield should'n be hindered too much you will prob just get heaps of seed.

hey nimbin im from melbourne , can u grow through out the whole year up in QLD ? also i have seen a post on here a guy was growing white shark but i cant remember how far alond the post is it could be 30 pages back or 20 pages in GL ! lol

Well bro I must say, your situation is a little worse than I had anticipated. He definitely had plenty of balls byt the time you found him, if anything it was a great lesson for you.....bet that wont happen again
I would say there is a good chance that he might have tossed a little pollen, but definitely not a whole lot. Problem is, a little is still some. Watch your ladies closely and you will notice pods forming soon if they got hit. If you dont notice pods, then they have very few deep inside the buds or none at all hopefully.
I was thinking he was a little more premature than that but then again AFs grow so damn fast, especially the males. But like I said in my PM, it was 45 days or so before my Diesel Ryder male was tossing pollen on his own. Definitely a good lesson though, the best way to learn is for the facts to smack you right in the face, that way you are less prone to miss the early signs next time.

I'm watchin em close. They are stil kickin out flowers but only time will tell.
I've come to terms with the fact that they're tainted, but if they aren't I will just be EXTREMELY pleasently surprised. Yeah 4 show i'll throw up some pics in the comin days to get ur prognosis.

guys here a question for ya why is it that your only ment to grow MJ from 22-30 degrees ? im pretty sure in iraq and pakistan were weed grows its much hotter then that.
