Hay dude. No that method wont work with photo plants. This is my first photo indoor grow and all I've are my HO fluorescent with grow and bloom bulbs. I have a DNA Lemon Skunk that going along with 1 auto female Short Stuff Onxy and 3 auto Lowlife AK47XHindu Kush. I'm hoping to grow the skunk in veg for the duration (2 months) of the auto's. Now this is all in theory. Then while harvesting the autos, I'll switch bulbs to flower and change the light cycle to 12/12.
As far as HID goes HPS is supposed to be best for veg and MH for flowering. But in your case I'm pretty sure they make a HPS bulb in both color spectrums. Better go. Later

Indeed, attitude is Very quick, a little pricey, but WELL worth it for all the options, tracking # provided @ time of order, etc.
Not to mention top shelf beans.
So do you hold tight on halides all the way thru on reg. photo beans as well??
From what I heard, halide is WAY better for establishin lots o branches tight together, but I noticed I had to crank my fan to bout twice the speed I did for a hps.
Gettin ready to replace my autos w/ some nice photo beans (most from the tude), I do have a halide bulb, I would just need to run my fan @ full tilt, cause I'm gonna have a separate hps goin, which I don't have a conversion for (must run hps).
Lemme know what ya think, I saw ur puddin, I might drink that punch.
holla back
