Autoflowering questions

I've never grown any autoflowering strains and I have a few questions. I want to grow about 3 in a small place but I'm afraid the area might be too small. I know the plants wont need much room because they are so small but I was wondering about how much space each plant would need. I read about using different watt cfls for veg and flowering, but I wanted to know if I could just use a single watt full spectrum cfl throughout the grow. And also, I want to know what light cycle to put the plants in. I have read 12/12 is the best or the plants won't autoflower.

autoflower means the plant will automatically flower, independent of the light cycle. try 18/6, or 20/4. 24/0 works also but dark periods are good.
if you want them to stay small, keep them in small pots.

Most autos won't use more than 1sqFt of floor space. Most won't get taller than 24 inches. Some will get bigger though. I grow my autos on 20/4 then finish them, while flushing under 12/12. They swell better and seem to ripen faster.

This is a mossy jem cloven pheno, this pheno gets big and bushy. Most don't get this big. That is a 2gal grow bag. I can pack 20 of these in a 4x4 space under a 600.
