autoflowering seeds?

I would have to see that, I verifiable test that auto bubble gum is as potent as traditional bubble gum, because I'm not buying it otherwise. How the hell do you mix an indica/sativa cross, mix it with rudelis, and come on the otherside with no loss in potency? I have to call bullshit, please, show me evidence of this, because you logic goes against my common sense. Auto's like having near 22 hrs of light, using more electricity than if you 12/12 a traditional strain, what exactly is easier about them? I just finished a grow with them and I was disappointed to say the least. and again, conservation of space seems to be the only argument for their existence and a decrease in potency... size can be controlled by training and pruning, both of which I could teach a first grader to do...so, what is their advantage? While your at it, evidence to back your claim of no loss of potency would be nice...

I have 6 SLH and 1 Dinafem Auto haze and there all around 2 weeks. The SLH is looking good and healthy but the dinafem auto haze looks like its on steroids compared to the SLH. Im pretty exited about the SLH but as time goes on im getting just as exited about Dinafems Auto Haze, and hell it was a freebee. Even though the SLH looks completely healthy in everyway the auto haze is looking even better.
But this is my first Auto strain and only the end results matter so i'll see how it goes.

wow...you seem upset about this...take a breather bro....first off..."potency" is a matter of opinion....to determine the actual amount of thc in a plant isnt determined by hitting a blunt and saying "dats good shit".to test the thc levels,canbanoids...or however its spelled...cbd levels...is done in labs.and most of the auto strains i grew due to the levels of thc in them...records have shown the diesel ryder auto show a thc of 24%...which is pretty damn high seeing that some of the most potent reg strains range between 18-25%...least thats what ive seen from most of the breeders out there.....all the ruderalis genes add to it is the auto genetics...the rest is left up to the % of indica and sativa of the plant....and the ruderalis gene is supposed to keep them short...but some dont stay short...i can link you to 2-3 grows on here with 5-6 foot auto plants...and most need 20 hours of light...not 22...and the reason for using autos is to not worry about controlling the lights and getting hermies as bad...usefull for a new grower...and it takes out of lot of the frustration waiting for them to sex..since some sativas...even on 12/12 can take weeks to sex.also can grow them faster...since its not on a 12/12 cycle...it as an auto...can grow fast...without having to worry about the light cycles...timers...making them easier to use.but its all a matter of opinion....since all the bigger seedbanks are selling a LOT of auto seeds....it seems some people find them useful..would they waste that much time and effort on breeding, packaging and shipping these beans if they didnt find them useful?i wont ever grow with them again...but for some folks they are worth it

†L† I'm glad I'm high now....where to start...first off, HOLY SHIT, THEY CAN TEST THC AND CANNABANOIDS?! ALL THIS TIME, I WAS SURE IT WAS ALL JUST OPINION!! IN FACT, I NEVER KNEW THC EXISTED!!! seriously?! That kind of goes on the no shit list captain obvious. Cannalytics Fingerprint and THC Test Kit would be a prime example, but speaking of, have you actually SEEN the results? Or are you taking the breeders word for it? Considering you used the word "records" your taking someone else's word. That kind of like dry testing in a dna lab (when labtechs just put what they thought the results were without checking them...) So if your going to TRY to make yourself sound like someone I should be taking an education from, do your own homework, or at the very fucking least have the url to the results...not what someone said the results were. Here, it'll look something like this thctestresults.JPG
And as far as the sativa's, yes, I'm more than aware of this, I have full moon(full sativa) started from seed at 12/12, sativa's just take forever, they show their preflowers in about 2-3 weeks...well, mine did. I'm 6 weeks in, got another 6 weeks to go, but what your failing to mention is the VAST MAJORITY, ie I have yet to see the exception, of auto's are indica dominant, yes, some claim sativa dominance, but the only 2 I've found were rudelis crossed with AK, which while the high is definitely sativa dominant, its plant structure and flowering time are all indica...so don't bother bringing them up. and if light cycle is the only advantage you can come up with...wow. We all take a certain amount of personal responsibility before we start something, or we should. If that is to much trouble, than maybe you should just buy and not grow...just a thought. And would they waste that much time and effort if people didn't find them useful? Wow, you must be really young. Let me share a secret with you, the PRIMARY difference between success and failure in any product/service is marketing. Nirvana just sold, and still sale's auto's that have gotten a reputation for not auto'ing, rather than take the time to fix that, they just expanded they're auto line. Why? Marketing, its marketed to be the latest and greatest thing, and you'll always have a sucker that will buy into it. Hell, I did to try them out.

P.S.- sorry it took so long to respond, I underestimated how much posting I had done, took me awhile to find it, and this thread didn't seem active enough to sub to...

I think autos can be a good idea depending on the growing conditions. I dont know about them being for beginners, because they can be stunted and put out even less than a dwarfed "normal" strain verrry easily.

As far as quality goes Lowryders Diesel was the best quality smoke I have ever had. It was a knock out, awesome easy hits, and tasted like candy. It is my favorite smoke and I look forward to grow'n it again.

Just finished some Dieselryders....now curing with another 2 drying....along with some Lowlife. Yep, it's some good bud...I regularly party with others who grow also and my auto buds are just as good and sometimes better than their photoperiods....I've changed some peoples opinions of autos cause they've read the negative opinions like some of the posters here. Some just think they're the "last" word on strains.............

Autos are like photoperiods...they're only as good as the care taken with them....some are more hardy than others....some are easier to grow than others.

What I find funny is the folks saying a reg seed 12/12 from the start to get the same results as an auto. A dead give away they really are pretty clueless........And if think Joint Doctor or DJ Shorts have not won any awards for their strains, funny again...........
