What up y'all , I was looking around trying to find out when is the best time to give an AUTOFLOWER, Bloom nutes & switch the lighting to 2700k
here's what my baby looks like at 35 days(5weeks) its a pyramid seeds; AUTO PURPLE

It's under 8x cfls(4x23w 5500k, 2x 42w 6500k, 2x 23w 2700k)
In a 1gallon DWC using Lucas formula (gh) currently using 0-4-8

I read a lot of post about autoflowers, saying that if I give them, bloom nutes all the vertical growth will slow down, I would like my plant to finish at 3ft
it's only about 17inches tall now, but I also don't want to fuck with bud production by not giving them enough nutes so I'm wondering what you guys think is the best time to star bloom nutes for an auto flower

hey man, good lookin lady ya got there! As far as spectrum, I run full spectrum for the full growth. I've only got a couple plants under my belt, but that's what I do. Also, everywhere I've read, says to start giving bloom nutes around week 2-3 of flower, but also, to pay attention to your plant. Sorry I don't have much info to give, but I still wanted to chime in and say she's looking great. I've only planted 4 autos so far, 2 got to right at 30" tall, got 2.25 and 1.7 from those two, and the other is about ready for harvest, she's only about 14", but she's got bigger, denser buds than the ones that got to 30". I've never heard that giving them bloom nutes will slow down the vertical growth, I thought was all about genetics and lights and nutes. Check out the autoflower section of the forum. There are some really experienced guys there with some great threads. Good Luck!

Yeah that's what I keep reading into that an AUTO FLOWER will slow on vertical growth, that's why I posted this thread, cause its kind of confusing, cause I know that when a regular photoperiod plant will double in size when you switch to flower, I'm going to give her bloom nutes maybe, tonight after she wakes up from her dark period.

according to her breeder she's gonna take 70 days, I'm going to flush her around the 9th week and try to keep her up for 1 week extra depending on trichome color

So I emptied the res gave it a good rinse, to find my roots just hugging my air stone, they look very healthy.

I Refilled the res with BLOOM nutes, switched the 2x42w 6500k for 2x42 2700k CFL'S

I already see her reaching for the sky, My next question for AUTOFLOWERING seeds should I switch my light cycle or leave it at 18/6

leave your light cycle the same throughout growth on autos. I prefer 20/4 from seed to harvest for great results.
