My autos looked nice but lacked the dank, but I see a lot of nice auto pics so it makes me think I got crappy autos

Genetics genetics genetics. They are not all equal.

I had great luck with blimburn, royalqueenseeds, canuk and Dutch passion seeds. All plants in the quarter pound per plant range at 100 to 120 days from seed. Tried an expensive sweet seeds strain and each grew like a miniature bonsai plant that gave half an oz. I was very unimpressed.
don’t believe everything you read or some know it all, try them on for size.

If you need a quick turn around or you grow in an area like me that is Winter half the year autos are your best bet.

When autos first started, this was a very true statement. That's because to get the auto, some strains were crossed with a ruderalis which is a cannabis sub species known for low thc content but also shorter growing periods and so on. This lead to lower thc in some strains. That is not so much the case anymore as genetics have been bread for a good time now to get essentially what we have today. Auto's now days can get up there in thc just as any other strain.

Many older growers that refuse to catch up with the times (especially at breeder shows) will argue until they are blue in the face with now out of date ''facts'' like this. It's mostly just them being stubborn. Everything evolves.

Auto flowers are 20% less thc but you get 20% more bud so it’s a coin flip. Don’t believe everything you hear/read. I usually take stuff with a grain of salt.
