Automated Light and Heating Control

Hi RIU,

After barely having to use my 6in to cool my lights down, I'm finding that it needs to be used often now to drop the temps down within the range I'd like it to be. But I'd like to invest in a controller that will turn the fan on at a designated setting. Primarily I want this so I can control energy waste and sound control since those big inline fans can be noisy and I live in a Condo (In a medically legal state but Condo's have rules).

What is everyone using these days? All recommendations are greatly appreciated!

What about those Sentinel or Autopilot controllers? Anyone have first hand experience using those. In conjunction with fan and lighting central control, I plan on introducing CO2 into my next grow.

I am using the Titan Mercury 4. It works great. The only caveat is that you must have a fan which is capable of being run at low speeds.
Some cheaper fans don't run at 50% power or less and can burn the motor out or create an overheat shutoff on the fan.
I'm using mine with a 6" fantech fg fan with an 85 degree trigger between high and idle. works great and usually it runs quieter than all the led fans (combined), since my room doesn't get much over 85.

Sentinel controllers are great. I have 3 CHHC-4s and run CO2 with them. They are very easy to use but they don't control lights. They control temperature, humidity, and CO2. You would have to get a different Sentinel device to control the lights but they do make them. Or you could go with any other brand like Titan, but those are more expensive.
