Autopot

Awesomeness. Autopots needs a section. I just made an order today for the 4 single pots and res after staring at them for a month or two. Any pointers from experienced growers would be rad. I was plannin on usin a 600w hps and an AT120 RB(apache tech) in a 4x4 row tent. Possibly tupur from royal gold as the medium. Not try to steal thead. Btw dr skunk keep those things healthy they already look like an awesome treat to have and good luck with the rest of the grow i will be sure to be keeping an eye on yours.

One thing that is cool is when you need to clean your reservoir you can unplug the hose and rinse it out. That is something I will do today I will clean the tank put 6 gallons of fresh water in it is a 12 gallon tank. I also will let the water sit in the tank with a aerator for 24 hours before turning line back on. It helps get rid of the chlorine and it adds extra oxygen to the water which is good for the roots.

28 days tomorrow since flip. I haven't been able to use the auto feeder part of it yet. It is a 12 gallon reservoir but I only fill it with 6 gallons at a time in less than 2 days the plants will drink that 6 gallons so I just turn off the line and wait about 4 days and then I fill it up again after cleaning the tank. Then I put a fresh 6 gallons of water in the tank turn my bubbler on and wait 24 hours for the chlorine to dissipate then I add my liquid nutrients stir it up real good and then turn the lines back on.

I am using Fox Farms Ocean Forest with Fox Farms Happy Frog 50/50 mix I put a layer of perlite at the bottom of each container. For the nutrients I am using Botanicare products I got for samples from grow shop when I bought my supplies. At first I really didn't care about the samples but it looks like those samples will get me through my entire grow also it saved me from having to spend the money on nutes which can be pretty expensive. The Botanicare samples are all liquid the samples also came with a sample of cal/mag which I add every other feed. I believe the one I'm using during bloom is Pure Blend Pro/Bloom.

The autopots they are the best thing that happened to me, made my life so much easier,

I use canna coco with 2inches of clay pebbles at the bottem of pot then add pure canna coco no need to mix any thing with your coco, coco is so airy anyway u dont need nothing,
I use canna a and b, rhizotonic cal max for veg, mix everything in a reserve with a air stone in it and the mixture is good for over a week, no need to do nothing for a week only lift the light so often and always check the ph in your reserver and maintane it at 5.8ph give or take 0.1ph, and all the strains I ran so far every one of them girls loved being in the autopot system, I swear by autopots, best metherd to grow hasleless

Yes you have to watter by hand like u wud normally for a week until you see roots have reached the bottom

34 days in I think they look pretty good.

For me it wont be a problem I have a old shower with drain when it comes to the flush I will just pick up the plants and move them into the shower. I will flush them and let them sit for an hour so most of the water can drain off and just put them back in their stations. Also the autopots are designed to simulate mother nature with a dry period an a wet period that's why there are valves in them.

Where are the best prices, in the US, to be found?

I am curious about trying these, in time.

Thanks!

JD
