Autos in HUGE POTS

Anyone whom has experienced this please give me feedback.
My friend transplanted what He thought was a photo plant outdoors. It started flowering days after, months before it should. It is now about 7' flowering strong. Way bigger than any auto He's heard of. His question is has anyone grown autos in 50+ gallon pots and what were the results?

waste of time and resources, first pick up a book and learn about growing and second put the knowledge from the book and common sense together and you will have your answer.

What use is extra dirt if you aren't able to give the auto time to veg, a plant doesn't need a big ass pile of dirt if the roots aren't going to branch out and use it.

It's in a 65 gal smart pot. Roots are Shooting out of the bottom. It was near root bound in a 7 gal bag prior. It is flowering, has been for at least 3 weeks now. Not preflowers. The pot, space, or soil are not a concern. Books have been read, not much on autos available to my friend. His intention was to run a photo plant but after research was done, it's an auto. Blue Himalaya diesel.

It is already flowering, the roots aren't going to expand much more than they already have. Just leave them and harvest em when they are done.

I don't grow autos, I have and they blow dick.

That's what he is doing. They did expand prior to that. Why respond on the post if you don't do autos. My friend isn't new. Just doesn't know about autos. Any useful experience would be appreciated.

Those are some incredible sized pots. not only is it a large area to feed , But the cost of soil comes to my mind. I would assume somebody is cutting a corner somewhere. common sense just should have kicked in at some point

and worthy of praise to you and your buddy,

so are you up for the fame alone ....or is it bull?
