Autos on a 12/12 schedule

so I cracked some autos a little while ago starting up a new grow.
One seed didn’t crack. So I grabbed another seed (Red Purps from female seeds) had a brain fart an thought is was auto. But it’s not

So my question is how do autos do under a 12-12 schedule? I have read they have less yield. But are the buds going to be just as good. Just less of them?

Either I top/super crop/ LST the photo plant still the autos are done. Then flip it. But I don’t know if I’ll run out of room in my 3x3.

Or just flip it now. The reason I ask is I have 3 autos in their with it.

What to you think? Will the autos suffer enough that it won’t be worth it ?

The other autos are
White widow XXL auto
Lemon haze auto CBD x2.

I would do. 18/6 or 20/4 just to get the most out of the autos. Just train the hell out of the photo then flip it when the autos are done. That’s just my opinion though.
That’s kinda what I’m thinkkng.
I guess if I get really crammed on space I can just pull it out and use a light to maintain it for a bit.

Im under 24/0 right now too. My seeds came up about mid dec as well. But got 3x in 3gal hempy buckets. Ones in a 1gal hempy. That one is planned to go into my 32gal trash can space bucket I built.

Just need to hook it into my automatic water system

Autoflower is a C4 plant and does not require darkness like a photoperiod does, which is a C3 plant. So the more light you give it the more bud you will get.

Autos aren't huge yielders in the first place so growing one on 12/12 is pointless, IMO.

Only reason I ask is with the photo period in the mix. I always run my autos at 20/4

These are my outdoor autos was giving them a lil bit extra light at nights until they became a pain in the ass to carry but my daylight hours is around 14 I’m pretty sure , the lil cheap green house thing is just to prevent rain from getting into my coco pots while I’m at work , and also hide from neibours

So these have been under 12/12 for a while. I put them on a window sill for to get about 16 hrs of light. But thats only on sunny days.

Gonna be harvesting my photo in next few days so they will get 20/4 to finish up.

They are about 10 days apart.
