Hey guys. I have germinated 14 N/L autos. I 've planted them into organic soil mixed with perlite on the 22 of March. I have them in a 1x1x2 grow tent under 400w Metal halide with a 6" fan bringing air inside. I also have a humidifier. The temp inside is about 23-25 Celcius. Whats wrong? Especially on the second picture.

You planted them a week ago and are asking about slow growth? How big were you expecting them to be in a week?

Your light may be a little too close, they don't really need lot's of light at this stage to grow and although your tent temps seem fine the light will be putting out lot's of radiant heat. Put your hand just above your plants, is your hand getting warm? If so that heat will be cooking those little plants.

Other than that it looks good.

I 've putted my hand and its not that warm, its comfortable. Thanks for answering. As i said im more worried about the one in the second pic. Its been like that since it sprouted while the others grew more.

Are you sure they are autos? I had some "autos" that didn't end up being autos. From what I gathered, that is. I have a photoperiod that is growing faster then them lol Where are your seeds from?

Gotcha, don't know to much about them. I know some people have mentioned that nirvanas JH weren't autos on the website...neither were mine.

That's probably not the case for you. Seedlings develop a root system before growing. If you are seeing slow growth on top, that probably means all the growing is under the soil (roots).

Ya man I'm in the same boat.
I planted my auto 2 days ago and it's super slow growth, can't even get it to pop out its shell.
Damn thing must be a bunk seed.

In all seriousness though, Autos are fairly slow growers when they start off.
Not to mention your plant is a week old? Most plants a week old don't even have the first set of true levels.

You gotta give time for the taproot to make its way down. Plants start off building the roots more than the top floor as they are born, and then start to grow faster once the taproot hits the bottom of the container.
That is when they start to spread outward and use up all the remaining space. That is when the growth takes off.
Also depending on your pot size, don't expect your Auto to be huge.

Contrary to what most believe, Autos can be big plants.
Take two of the same strain/breed, plant one in a 2L Soda pop bottle, another in a 2-3 Gal Smart pot and watch the difference in height and branching.
