Average cost of a small grow indoor

I'm just curious on the cost on a grow indoor my electric company I use is like a pay as you go I buy top up cards and top up depending on my usage for instance 20euro would do for the week that'swashing machine, showers, tv, hoovers, kettles and heating all going, so a monthly bill doesn't apply for me.

its 200 £ ish for 3 months of running my 600 + fans etc .. as for the set up that could cost you between 20 and 20,000

Electricity-wise is what I believe he's asking. Fans and pumps are negligible especially in a small grow. You can easily calculate how many kWh's your light will take in two months of flowering and two vegging by multiplication. 16(hours per day)*0.6(kW)*60(days) = 576 kWh for vegging. Similarly, using a shorter light cycle, 12*0.6*60 = 432 kWh for flowering. Combine that to 1008 kWh in four months and next you only need to know your electricity price to multiply it with.
Mighty numbers we have here, but mind that these are stretched over 4 months.

Setup for a small grow would cost (with HPS lights) from maybe 120 to 350 euro. This also could be stretched over how long you want to veg. Once you start flowering you'll be taking clones and need an active carbon filter anyway. By that you'll have made most of your purchases.

You guys must have some incredibly expensive utilities.
Where I am, 2 400 watt lights (one 20/4 and one 12/12) with a heater or ac running = 20 US dollars a month extra.

What this guy said. Doesn't matter if it is Euro, pounds, dollars, or pesos. As long as you know the price of your electricity per kilowatt hour.
