average time from flower to smokable bud?

Hey guys, I am going to be going out of town in five months and want to know when I should start flowering so that I can dry/cure/smoke before I leave. Any one have a rough idea of how long it takes to flower dry and cure? I don't have anyone to look after my plants while I'm gone so I have to chop before I leave and dry before I leave. Thanks so much for any help! (i'll rep everyone that helps lol)

Flowering time depends on the strain, ballpark I would say is 7-10 weeks, drying is another week and curing is another week. You should be ok but not knowing your strain or your setup its hard to say.

Thanks man. Ya I know it's a really broad question but I was just looking for a ball park...which you gave me. I guess I should start flowering pretty soon...just to be safe?
