I got 13 of 14 to germinate of the Lemon Kush. the other is still in the tupperware trying along with the BB and Chupa seeds but I dont think they were gonna pop anyways. I put the others into solo cups for now. I have more GG Kush clones that are gonna be ready in a few days. for now im done cloning until the BB mother is ready and these are almost done.

Today started out good, I found a seed that dropped from the skunk that looks sweet. Its funny to think im happy and now trying to seed some of my plants. I hated seeds for years.
All of the 13 of the Lemon Kush have popped soil now. I also took some plants from the cloner and put them in solo cups. I am pretty happy with how the cloner has worked for me. its taking about 14 days to get enough roots to pot. I also realized that i took the pods from the male white widow too soon and got very little pollen. But on a good note I got a couple open pods in a small dish and used a make-up brush to spread pollen all over a blueberry flower. I will be really happy if it takes.

I had to pull GG Kush 1 out to water and train the scrog. I love this strain so far. Just a beast of a plant and has a great skunk

Im really happy, im 99% sure that the GG pollen took on the Blueberry lady. the hairs are turning orange/brown on the 2 flowers i got. I alot pollinated another flower today. I plan on pollinating the special kush #1 with the GG pollen as well.

The Blueberry and Widow are starting to look a little too dark green and plastic looking. Im not sure why but they have stayed pretty wet. A little wierd because i have alot of perlite and they seemed to drain quickly but i doubt i need to water for another 4 days or so which would make almost 7 days between waterings. a little longer than i would like

I collected a little more pollen from the GG and hit another flower on the same branch of BB. In a couple days i think enough of them will pop that i have to save some pollen and store it for later. I also looked at the bottom of the solo cup from the first clone i took and it has a shit ton of roots now. I think i will keep it in the solo cup for a few more days then transplant to a 2 gal. I watered the special kush #1. one of them has filled out nicely and the other has made a million little off shoots down low. I dunno how they grew so different after flip because they looked identical before flip to flower. The GG Kush are lookin good and fillin out nicely. Im excited to see the cross between it and the blueberry. I have been thinking of names but im not that creative. GG Blueberry is probably what ill call it for simplicity. maybe Gooey Blueberry or Gooberry. lol

I feel myself neglecting other hobbies for growing now. The wife doesnt mind though .
Today I was able to collect a little pollen and attempted to pollenate the Special Kush#1 and another flower on the BB branch. Im really hoping for quite a lot of seeds. I also put the 2 taller GG Kush clones into the flower room. I wasnt sure how much they'd grown but I looked back at pics and they have added 2 nodes so I figure it was time. I took 4 BB clones, 4 White Widow clones and 1 GG Kush clone because I cleaned up the lowest stuff from a couple plants and they were a few shoots that looked like they might be worth trying. If nothing else its good practice. I added some water and put the airstones up a little higher so the shorter clones are closer to the water. I think I will probably transplant and put the other clones into flower in 3-4 days. I will also probably take down the skunk and the special kush #1 that is super close.
anybody who wants to chime in on when they put their clones into flower and how they know they are ready for the bigger lights?

I took all the clones from solo cups and put them in 2 gal bags and put them into the flower room. They had way better roots that I thought they would have. I also noticed 2 BB and 1 widow have their first lady parts showing . I plan on mating the GG male with the Special Kush #1, Blueberry, and pollinate a couple buds on the GG just to save the genetics that way as well.

Just read your whole thread Aviar. VERY nice work with the girls and the boiz! I plan on doing something similar in the near future with the whole pheno-hunt/pollen collection and try to make some crosses and produce meh own seeds Glad you got the cloner cranking. I use a similar cloning method myself only my cloner is basically the size of a 3g bucket. I drilled a hole in the middle of the lid and hung 1 airstone a few inches below the surface. Holds 10 mini netpots and I just suspend them in the solution using those little rubber clone holders. Also-->TRY THIS ON A COUPLE CLONES--> Take a new razor blade or a clean pair of scissors and lightly scrape the outer membrane of your clone stem. About an inch from the bottom of your cut up should do the trick. Over time I've found that this helps my odds with rapid rooting. My guess would be that since you're removing the tougher outer lining from the stem your nutrient solution/ph'd water gets into the fibers that produce roots easier. Food for thought. To each their own. Bummer about that Cheese seed as that shiz is some FIRE! Next time when/if that happens try shooting the breeder an email and they usually reimburse. I had that happen once on an order and they replaced w/e the seed was along with a sticker and another freebie. Another thing. Do you have that 1 exhaust fan tied into both of your lights yes? And you're running 2 600w? Just curious because my fan is roughly same size as yours 435cfm 6" inline and I was wondering if it could cool 2 lights running in different rooms right next to each other. Sub'd man. Keep up the awesome work!

thanks for reading and replying. Thanks for the cloning tips. I am using the same fan to cool both lights. I go through both then exhaust into my vents. My temps run around 77-81 in my rooms now. If i work in there for a while it creeps up over 80 degrees but usually stays around 77 right now. I only had 1 light in the summer and had to run AC to keep temps down. Any other questions feel free to ask. I am still a newbie but love helping anybody else that wants to grow this beautiful plant

I cleaned up the very bottom stuff from way under the scrog. I got 3 big enough branches to clone. they are flowering so I dont know how long it will take or if it will. I also noticed that the inside of the GG Kush buds are purple already. I am hoping this is a true purple strain. I am most likely gonna chop the Special Kush #1 that is done first thing in the morning tomorrow. Merry Christmas to me
I also pollinated a bud on the GG Female and another bud on the Special Kush #1 . It looks like the first attempt at the Special Kush#1 didnt take so hopefully this try will.

I chopped the Special Kush #1 and Im very glad I did. The biggest cola had a little mold starting in it. I didnt find much or any more on the rest of the buds. I broke them all up pretty good. I knew it would be a possibility with how dense they are but didnt see my humidity over 65%. I found 2 more skunks seeds when i was trimming it up this morning. that brings me to 7 real good looking seedsman skunk #1 seeds. That plant was treated terribly (underwatered and underfed) and still produced some decent buds. Id like to give it a good chance now that im not slacking on my gardening duties. I am gonna put a few of the Lemon Kush seedlings into bigger containers. Mostly due to the fact they have stretched a lot from not keeping cfl's really close.

I just checked my room and the humidity was 85%. I wasnt paying attention to it overnight just lookin after lights had been on for a little bit and not looking at the low high/low .. now i know why that other plant was getting some mold in the buds. I put the dehumidifier in there and it should be good now. I am gonna move all my ladies out of the room for a little bit today and clean the room completely. Ive gone too long without doing some preventative stuff. I dont wanna get mites again. I havent seen any site of them but i had a dream that i had them baaad!! talk about a nightmare, lol

Wow 85% RH!? Be a hell of a veg room lol. As far as the mold/mites/etc I think it all comes down to 2 things. Your RH is way to high for flowering true, but also hows the air circulation? Maybe consider getting a bigger oscillating fan or a 20" box fan in the corner of the upper canopy so she's dancing in the wind. Bugs....and yes I've learned a lesson or 2(hate those tiny bastards and lost a whole crop once) They cant build webs that well when the plants wont hold still AWESOME move with putting the dehumidifier in there. Will for sure help. Even with lights on your RH will drop but not drastically enough to be able to handle it alone. I don't recall you having any temp issues? Either way man. Nice looking smoke. Glad you're working out the kinks. Gawd dontcha just <3 this hobby of ours!

Woohoo I finally got my black friday seed order. Too bad i kinda crowded my room already because i couldnt keep waiting. I dunno what im gonna start out of the bunch. I will probably start 3-4 JungleWreck regular to get some pollen to cross with. I also really wanna do a one of the Nirvana Power Diesel or the Kannabia BCN Diesel but they are gonna have to wait. I chopped the GG Kush #4 it was a male. I am gonna chop down the other GG Male soon. I got a bit more pollen today off it. I will have GG Kush seeds, GG Kush x Blueberry, GG Kush x Special Kush #1. I will use a clone or just start some GG Kush from seed later if need be. anyways heres some pics

So a small rant to start out... I got my order and opened the 2 fem seedsman Cheese and they were both smashed again. The looked pitiful even if not smashed. I havent had good germ rates with the Regulars from them. the fems are fine. In fact i really like the widow and blueberry but the JungleWreck seeds dont look promising. Okay done with that.
on tuesday I started germinating 3 reg seedsman JungleWreck, 2 Kannabia Queso fem, 1 GHS Exodus Cheese fem. I put the Exodus Cheese into a solo cup today. the 2 Kannabia Queso are popped and I will plant tomorrow. the junglewreck havent done a thing yet.
Ive got a lot going on in different stages and even though its a lot of work i am learning a lot.

I took a few pics last night and forgot to post. the blueberry is looking very good. I think i might end up with a lot of seeds, a few more than planned. I noticed some more on the GG Kush that I didnt intend on making oh well this is a seed run kinda anyways. The Exodus Cheese has popped the soil this morning. the 3 JungleWreck are not germing and just look black. both Queso i germ'd are in cups i hope they break soil soon. I pulled 2 of the last clones i put in there they were sad looking and i have too many anyways. good problem to have if you ask me

I didnt do much in the room today just moved a couple plants around to get more light. I am really enjoyin the smoke of the Special Kush #1 from Royal Queen seeds very impressed. its been knockin me on my ass. I finally feel like I have the drying down now. It smells super good and so does the Seedsman Skunk #1 i pulled. It doesnt look as good but smells and tastes good. not a long lasting high really.
Ive got 1 queso to pop and the other hopefully will be soon. I also took a Seedsman Blueberry clone from the cloner and put into a 2 gal. today. I will have a few more in the coming days ive got to move some plants from the table to the middle and stuff but i will make it work. the Lemon Kush are getting big for solo cups. still unsure what to do with them... anyways im ramblin heres some pics

Well its been a little bit since i posted. The room has grown a bit. starting to be a little crowded but its working out. I had to stop cloning for a little while. Ill probably start some seeds from what i have lying around and the seeds ill get from this next harvest. I cant wait to harvest just so i can have my own seeds. lol . The GG Kush are looking closer probably another 3-4 weeks but one has started to yellow on me pretty fast this week.
