World War Z was the shit!! I loved that book. I bought my girl Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies last christmas. I might end up reading it myself. Also Sirens of Titan by Kurt Vonnegut Jr was amazing. It was tough getting through the first part of the book which is all just narrative building up the backstory, but it was fantastic.

brandon, i will check out the sirens of titan..i loved slaughterhouse 5...i almost got the pride predjudice zombie book as a xmas gift for an eleven year old girl but wasnt sure if it was age appropriate. if you got a clue let me know..violence and all that is okay, just dont want a romance novel with zombies in the background, ya know? and pony, you are right..so right lol

i like older books. the magic realism in latin literature always intrigued me.

100 Years of Solitude - Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

i think he got the nobel prize in literature thanks to this book.

not a quick n easy read either. if you liked the DaVinci Code, you probably won't like this one.

but my all time favorite read is definetly:

The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

To be honest I have no idea, I'll ask the wifey. From what she said it's very true to the real book, just with zombies sprawled throughout. You should also check out Breakfast of Champions by Vonnegut. It's the book that renewed my love for reading fiction.

Then also check out Cat's Cradle. My girl said that Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies should be fine for an 11 year old, as long as you're good with the zombie type violence.

Eragon! by Christopher Paolini. Great read. But if im reading, it pretty much has to be dragons and such. I like Darren shan as well. Especialy the Demonata series. I still havent finished that series. I need to get the rest of Paolinis books as well.

Awesome book, not for everyone, and you are correct he did get the Nobel for it. Oprah picked it as one her picks also.
