I am running a total of 236w for lights and and an Air King 10 inch fan. So..just for lights I am burning less wattage than you. What else you running? A/C..? exaust? I know from previous experience your using double the power consumption keeping the temps down. So...How many plants you growing? I think you mentioned 2. I got 3 growing had pull 1 and got 16 beautiful clones from those 3...
How much weight you pull off your 2 little plants. Judging from the pictures you posted on my thread here, My #1 plant is gonna outproduce your 2 little plants alone.

I am growing 20 plants sog style in an aero system, I have no clue where you came up with me having two plants
And I highly doubt you harvested more than me, here are some pics
I am using a 116 watt inline exhaust fan to keep the temps in check. For the grow pictured I used a 250w HPS and 84w of CFL so yeah I did use a bit more light than you. But I can also bet that I harvest at least 25% more than you do with those LED's

aprox 5-6 weeks. gotta look at my calender. Anyway's thats really no excuse... 20 vs 3.... come on. but whatever. You guys can never own up to the fact that LED's grow some pretty dank shyt...Even when we post up our grow pics and stuff, it seems like it aint ever enough. So I'm through argueing with all the closed minded HiD guys. Don't tell me how to grow or what to use, and we'll be cool.. HPS? been there, done that, wont do it again.
On the other hand, my next grow I plan on growing some green thai 12/12 from seed and super cropped. Should be interesting.
Oh...btw with hps only what? 10-20% of the light is used by the plant? So 10-20% of 250w seems like a big waste and not very environmentaly friendly to me....

Hey Tom... I'm glad you got 1 bud out of your 20 plants your proud of. Lemme show you two of mine.. 8 weeks twin colas measuring in at a cool 12.5 inches each.

Well it looks like GHS was true to thier word and this is a 9 week strain,and at 9 they were ready. I let my #1 & 2 girls go an extra week, and that extra week paid off. They have had nothing but molasses for the last 2 weeks and had a final flush today. Chopped tommorrow.
My #3 girl due to a light leak is about 5 weeks behind as I stated earlier, But she is looking at about 7 weeks flower time now.

Ok. So I cut down girls 1&2.
Here are a few pics. Just the colas pretty much all the smaller buds were cut off last week as I was in need of smoke..LoL

No smart ass remarks from the hid crowd?...Well as of now this LED journal is done... As of tonight my official weight before I packed em in jars is 278.4 grams. Oh yeah, GHS wasn't shitting about the 21% thc content neither, my patient as well as myself is loving it, definatly some 1 hit quitter. I'll definatly by these seeds again. Cant wait to see how my outdoor crop does, wish I woulda cloned some of my clones.

Can you show a pic of the entire harvest?
The pictures you showed are not of 278 grams thats for sure
nice harvest though, best one I've seen from LEDs
If you got 278 grams dry than you're saying these buds each way around 55 grams dry? There isn't a snowballs chance in hell that is the case

Dam, Those are some great lookin ladies. I can't believe how hard people hate. If you can reduce most of your heat, eliminate A/C, cut your wattage and cost in half, and then cut the haste of bulbs, balasts, hoods and vents out... Dam, ill take that 20% cut. Then I hear from most people that you get a better quality bud too. Im not very experianced as a grower and im open to any and all ideas. After all things considerd, lLEDs seem like a no brainer. Hid guys can have that 20%, be proud of it. Be very proud haha. Good journal man, People should Just recognize some good ass high quality herb. Gives me a lot of hope for my investment. Good work man.

lbbear: you forgot to mention these things can be on 24/0 for 7 years without degradation of light quality
HID = cheap at first, and it works. You can get 600w digital switchable ballast, reflector, MH and HPS bulbs, in a kit on ebay or under $200 and grow over 1lb of weed. You'll need to replace those bulbs every other grow ( if you're lucky ). Thats like $40 x 3 per year, $120 extra per year. If you do not have heat or space issues, HID is the best set up for the initial price. There are more maintenance costs.
LED = expensive start up costs. near zero maintenance costs for 7+ years. These grow panels haven't been out for 7 years, but the LED's can last that long. If anything a power supply will go bad, and you can get one for cheap from a computer store for like $20. But thats a big maybe. I've had power supplies in electronics last over 10 years. You can buy 600w of LED for about $1k on ebay, and grow over 1lb of weed. You do not need to worry about space or heat issues.
