B.f. Blue cheese, cimea blue etc.

Decided to do a journal on my grow. I'm doing this to help keep me vigilant and get the best grow I can. Any helpful hints and contructive criticism is welcome.

My lineup is as follows:

1. 2 Barneys Farm Crimea Blue (46 days in flower)
2. Crimea Blue clone (from shorter stouter plant) (4 days in flower)
3. 2 BubblegumXCrimea Blue male (4 days in flower)
4. Dinafem California Hash Plant (3weeks in veg.)
5. AK47XCrimea Blue male (seedling)
6. Barneys Farm Blue Cheese fem seed (1 week veg in Aerogarden)

My rooms:
Veg Room: 4' X 5' X 9' tall
Flower room: 4' X 5' X 9' tall
Emegency cold weather room: Spare bedroom

Lights:
Combo 400 MH +400 HPS under one hood in veg room
600 watt HPS with batwing reflector for flower room
400 watt switchable ballast MH/HPS with batwing reflector can be moved from room to room as needed

Medium:
Fox Farm oceanforest mix
5 gallon DWC with Hydroton pebbles(for the Blue Cheese)

Nutrients:
Botanicare Pure Blend for veg
botanicare Liquid Karma
Fox Farm big bloom
Fox Farm Tigerbloom
Fox Farm Cha Ching (not sure this does that much but bought it and will use on some not others)

The Blue Cheese will be the focus of this journal. I am hoping to get close to a pound off of this plant. I will be taking it out of the Aerogarden and putting it in the 5 gallon DWC this week. this will be my second DWC grow. last year I got 10 ounces dried Bubblegum from one 5 gallon DWC.
I have been utilizing the spare bedroom this winter to grow my Crimea Blue. It is so wet and cold her in Oregon on the coast. My rooms are in a freestanding uninsulated garage. It is starting to warm up enough to start vegging out there, but I may have to put the dehumidifier in the flower room to keep the humidity down for the next couple of months.
To explain the seeds Bubblegum X Crimeablue and AK 47 X Crimmea Blue. I grew an AK47 from a clone given to me from a friend and a T.H. Seeds Bubblegum and B.F. CimeaBlue. the Crimea Blue was a male and slightly fertilized the AK47 and Bubblegum. I got about 36 seeds off both plants 1/3 were white and I threw them out but kept the rest. I started 2 of the BGXCB and both were females. I have one of the AK47s sprouting and not sexed so will see how the combinations work out.

Hi folks. just got my order in the mail today. 12 days from order to delivery. Anyway. got some Barneys Farm Red Dragon and a 420 scope
I will be starting two of these beans soon in my Aerogarden and put one in a 5 gallon dwc and soil for the other. The Blue cheese will be going into the 5 gallon today and then I will clean the Areogarden. I will update later today after the work is done.

Well it didn't take long to transplant the Blue cheese. I had already gotten the bucket and net pot cleaned with a bleach solution. Rinsed and soaked in Phed water the hydroton and airstone. Filled the bucket with filtered water about 4 gallons one inch up into the net pot. Put in a layer of pebbles and then my B.C. with a long root mass. (from growing in the aerogarden) More pebbles to fill the net pot and cover with an old tupperware lid. I expect a little anxiety from her but hopefully in a day or two she will settle down.
My nutes are at 400 ppm and Ph at 6.1 water temp is 66 degrees F
Any questions? Comments? Suggestions?

When I went to the room this morning I was a little worried. The Blue Cheese lost the lower two sets of leaves due to the intro of hid lighting. I was sorry to see the plant didn't look that great but not dying. I decided to look at the roots and they are growing fantastically. That made me fell better about the plant. I think I might be a little high on the nutes so I may drain out a half gallon and replace with Phed water.

its day 10 in the flower room and the b-bum XCrimea Blue has big flower starts for this early.(hopefully they continue growing like this)

Just a little update on my grow. both Red Dragons are poking out, also in the middle of aerogarden is an AK47xCrimea Blue. Next pictures are my Veg room. California hash plant in a 3gallon pot, AK47x CB in 6 inch pot and Blue Cheese in the 5 Gallon DWC. The flower room pics are next. Crimea Blue in front and 2 Bubblegum xCB in back. last is the Crimea Blue in the house. These two are ripening up nicely.
This is my first grow using feminized seeds. I chose Barneys Farm because of the good feedback here on RIU. The Hash plant was a freebie.
I have a Question and I want some answers from experienced growers about all the talk of hermaphrodites here on RIU. in 20 years of growing I have never seen a hermie. Anyway,

are hemies as prevelant as some people seem to think??

My last round I had a hermie. It was my fault, I stressed 'em real bad on accident, hot broken glass, no bubbles for 12hours n whatnot. I found 2 male flowers neatly tucked away in two buds during harvest, and about two dozen seeds total scattered on lower buds nearby... timing and shit worked out well for me, except all the cleaning that had to follow, and the now awkward stares I give to one mum wondering if I should keep her knowing she can make hermie progeny.

It was a gift. Undoubtedly of questionable genetic background, but a great yielder in decent harvest time and of some good medicinal value for me, until I get a proper Kali Mist mum.

Changed the reservoir and the bucket of the Blue Cheese. There was algae growing in the blue tube so will clean that out . fantastic growth now, so I upped the ppm to 450. I think I will lst the hash plant.

I love this site, so much to learn and try new techniques. The Red Dragons and theAK47 in the aero garden are doing very good. (AK in the middle) The girls in the flower room are pushig out buds on strong branches Last, the Crimea Blue in the house about 60 days flower. the short one has a couple more days and I can't wait. I am drooling already. But must be patient. Hard to be patient when I am out of smoke. The tall one has at least a week or more. flushing is due for this baby.

ok folks I tied down the top three branches. I'll let that grow for a couple days and see if there is more I can move around. I'd like to get a nice wide canopy.

Heres the update:
Crimea Blue: 65 days flower and still not ready to chop on the tall sativa looking pheno. Shorter pheno is coming down tomorrow.
The four in my flower room:
Crimea Blue Clone, BubblegumxCrimea Blue (2) and I have put the Hash plant in there yesterday.
The veg room:
B.F. Blue Cheese in DWC is growing so fast. I love this method of growing big bushes. PPM at 450 still because leaves are curling a little. Ph 6.2 It has been topped and outside fan leaves removed.
AK47xCrimea Blue from seed is not yet showing sex and is really growing slowly. I will transfer it to a bigger pot this week.
Three seedlings: Red Dragon in 5 gal. DWC, Red Dragon in FF Ocean Forest and AK47xCrimea Blue in soil
Red Dragon in DWC; 350PPM and Ph 6.3
9 PLANTS, UNDER MY ALLOTTMENT BUT ABOUT ALL MY TWO ROOMS CAN HANDLE

T Crimea blue came down an hour ago The buds I picked last week are fabulous so another week should make it that much better.

Still a few bugs on the new RIU. My opinion on this upgrade is that it is more professional than before and MJ needs to be mainstreamed. I hope the news features are going to continue and that they will be factually correct not politically correct. I want facts not liberal or conservative spin. I will be my own DECIDER. There will be those that don't like this format and they are entitled to there opinion. both sides must be respected and let the majority rule with a velvet glove Now the marijuana plants. The fower room is starting to smell wonderful. Crimea Blue and the 2 BGxCB arein the fourth week. The California Hash plant is still growing slow even after 5 days 12/12.
The Bluecheese in DWC is growing fantasically. PPM is @ 575 and Ph @ 6.5. I still have some curling of leaf tips and a little nute burn on tips. I guess I will have to not up the nutes for a few days and maybe even lower it to 500 tomorrow. IF YOU HAVE BLUECHEESE IN HYDRO i WOULD LOVE YOUR OPINION.
Red Dragon in DWC is doing great too. the three in soil (Red Dragon and AK47xCB are growing sow and will be put on the back deck when its time.

Oh yeah smoked some of the Crimea Blue and I think it is pretty good I will know better in a couple weeks

awesome thanks. theres little info out there on CB so i really appreciate your journal since i just bought some myself.
