Thanks for the information. As a first time grower I have just been researching different techniques and styles. Have considered using cfl in my veg room to keep electric cost down. Was very impressed with your setup and figures you'd be a good one for questions in regards to cfl. Sorry for kind jacking your thread, but thanks again!

The seven healthier cups on the left are in composted soil from my outside garden

The tomato I overwatered but will be fine after I put it in a bigger pot.

You know I got third in the 3rd or 4th comp?
Probably not though,those guys done left me in the dust. I avg. about 10-12g per cup.If I can get me a little hydro setup going I might do it again

dude those are crazy! lol. do they still take the usual 3months? Or since growth is limited it goes fast?

They usually finish up in around three months(75-90days)12/12 from seed.Of course a sativa will flower longer than an indica.

Well I guess I kinda had a light leak, a few hermied on me and i've culled out the males.
I have transplanted two females to 3l containers and am revegging them by putting them outside when my lights turn off.(i'll see how it goes,doing fine so far).
So now I only have 5 females,1 still undecided,3 new sprouts under 12/12 light,plus the 2 females I'm revegging.
I'm kinda busy lately gotta be up and out by sun up and I'm tired when I get home.My lights come on at 9:30p and go off at 10:30a...So I guess I'm not a true 12/12 .........13on/11off close enough???
I'll try to put up some pics asap,be just boring veg pics anyway :eyesmoke:
