Never seen a group of people so paranoid in my life.

Homosexuals got their ass beat when they started coming out, but look at them now....

To continue my point almost a 1/4 of the country still has anti sodomy laws, but yet homosexuality is for the most part tolerated by police in those states. But there doing that in the privacy of their home. Yeah exactly like most of your gardens and transfers.....

You cant fight for what you want from the closet. And the longer you guys act like your criminals the longer the public at large will see you that way.

I'm pretty sure no court in this countries history has ever signed a warrant authorizing a military assault team the right to raid a citizens home over those sodomy laws :hump::hump:

No, but they turned their back on that community for a long time and let ignorant groups commit hate crime after hate crime. just an example of how govt power is absolute whether something is legal or not. If the public is behind you however it makes it harder for government power plays.

Not to pick on you, it's just that your typo reminded me of this...
What's that old idiom? "If you're not paranoid you're not paying attention"?

No one gets arrested for being gay. Everyone gets arrested for weed.

I'd gladly get my ass beat to promote the cause. Not going to spend time in prison.

36 medical marijuana prosecutions a year. The risk really isn't that high, being that there are alone 25,000 registered Michigan caregivers. That being said if you are acting within your state and local guidelines what are you so afraid of?
Well, time in prison for starters. Some of us have children and/or careers, so the thought of spending time behind bars carries an extra burden. I wouldn't be of much use to my patients who depend upon my meds if I were locked up either. I'm also concerned about people breaking in to my home. Thousands of dollars worth of equipment and plants is something I'd prefer to not have to replace. You call it being afraid, I call it being smart. But, by all means, if you're so passionate about this then over-grow the fuck out of your garden and put up a big ole sign in your front yard letting the world know what you're up to. Walk the talk instead of bitching about it on a pot forum.

Mr.B- I may also have a glass jaw. I've never found out. Fortunately I've been able to cry in fights to avoid getting punched.

not to mention that is prosecutions not the tally for all the people that have been harassed or arrested and put through the wringer financially and emotionally or that have had their children kidnapped by the state. sorry buddy but for me the risks are pretty fucking high

Gayness aside, there are those among us who are vocal and active working our agenda. We are not all shrinking violets.

Can it be reasonably argued that heterosexual people have a bigger stake in their progeny, and are subsequently more reluctant to put it out there in order to protect them?

The Schedule I Narcotic laws in this country have allowed through precedent extraordinary use of force and forfeiture clearly contrary to our constitutional rights. This was was done knowingly to combat organized crime and drug cartels under the guise of this "war on drugs". No bullshit lawfare shorthand will ever justify a raid on a medical marijuana patient and/or caregiver period.

It is only a matter of time before one of these military assault teams staffed with local LEO cowboys is called to task on their use of this game against a medical marijuana patient and/or caregiver. Sadly I believe it may not be until the death of one of our children that can be portrayed under this given bigotry as "innocent" before this happens :(
