What's happening rollitup? Hows the kids? Wife still a bizatch? Getting side tracked back to original reason here. So my names Billy and I'm a recent college grad who is in some desperate need for bud. (Wags hand in air at recession) So I've researched a whole bunch on growing techniques and the right tools for it so i wouldn't come off like a super newb asking questions like why do plants need sunlight or if I smoke a cig near my plant will it get lung cancer? I REALLY need to yield at least 3 ounces and anything more would be awesome.
Equipment:
78x36x36 grow tent
250w HPS
Chain for light
1inch rockwool cubes
Oscillating fan
Humidity/Temp reader
6 inch air duct fan
Charcoal filter
Light timer
Shultz take root Rooting hormone (for cloning)
Seeds:
10 Fem White Widow
Nutrients:
Fox Farm Grow Big
Fox Farm Big Bloom
Tiger Bloom
All of the supplies should be here in the next week and I still have to get some soil which I plan to get Fox Farm Ocean Forest and some pots with holes on the bottom to put them in. I also plan to show you my progress as I continue through this journey and eventually show off my yield. Now I have just a few questions and I'd really appreciate some help.
Questions:
1) Do I need two fans hooked into my grow tent to have air coming in and out or just one? Also I can't have any tubes coming out of the grow tent cause it will be hard enough disguise it.
2) In order to get three ounces would it be better for me to have 4 plants or 6 plants or more?
3) Can a carbon filter hook into any air duct fan?
4) At what point should I take a clone from my plant to continue the ongoing cycle of growing and cloning?
Also for the nutrients I'm hoping it comes with a schedule when and exactly how much to feed the plants and I am aware of the NPK that it suppose to get during each phase but it would be nice to get some specifics on when exactly to feed so I can make a schedule. I've never used soil based nutrients, fertilizer or quite frankly have ever even planted a plant b4 so I was wondering what exactly soil nutrients are. Do I put it in a barrel and feed it when I do the watering or do I just sprinkle it on top of the soil after watering? Really not sure at all what to do here.
Closing note:
I have sank about $450 bux into this and will be sinking about 50 bux more on soil, pots and a pH tester so I really REALLY need to get a decent yield just to get some money back and I can't mess this up so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx again and i'll leave you with a joke. What's the hardest part about your girlfriend having an abortion?.......trying to act upset.
