Baby Seedling "Jessica" might be dying :(

Hello guys,

I am very concerned for my little baby, her name is Jessica.

She has been going through a lot of traumatic events such as:

1. object falling on her

2. over10 hours without light... (lamp burned)

3. Overwatering

4. Light was too far

5. Light too was too close

She lost part of her roots and has been overwatered... :(

However, she's a fighter and hasn't died ... atleast not yet.

Problem 1.) The left lower leaves (the one on the picture) is turning white and yellow and looks like someone took a bit off it. Is it maybe a infestation? I am not sure but today when i came home i swear i saw tiny little flies around the growing area. Maybe 2-3 could be that i was just high off my ass because they are so small ... maybe white flies? Maybe nothing?

Problem 2.) The plant is growing really slow I germinated it on the 25th of September and it barley grows... Do you guys think she looks good for her age? More light needed?

Problem 3.) If you look carefully there is a little yellow dot on one of the bigger leaves should I be concerned?

Question 3.) Am I supposed to start feeding her nuts?

Question 4.) Is my light at the right level? Can i attach my 2nd 125W CFL Lamp or is it too early?

Can I lower the lights even more?

Thanks for the help

Hey. Im newb too. This is my plant after 14days of germ. So like 1-2 days older than yours. If your noob too id strongly recommend to buy some "Cannabis" soil. I use biobizz lightmix (for seedlings). On my first attempt they all suddenly died...big difference to now: earlier i used garden soil+compost + Perlite. In my garden everything flurishes in that...so i thought.... -well my mj died, while indoor tomatoes were happy...The light is real 45W of led...i lowered it and they stopped stretching and will burry them deeper once i transplant...gotta figure things out.
My noob opinions:
1) the leaves have i name i forgot. its pretty normal that they die. but i maybe not that early. Maybe too many nutes. The leaf dmg looks to me as if it got burned there.
2)yea i think its growing slow, look at my pic. its prolly your soil. What is it?
3) depends on your soil. I havent fed mine anything. Everything is nice and green.
4) as i said i use 45W led. So i think your good with 1 lamp. i really would not lower the light or increase the light output.

dmg on tomato bott leaf is from first mj grow attempt. People were like OMG increase Led power and lower them to this and that value...I did...well all plants got burned heavily + crappy soil = death was imminent ...so u gotta be carefull to what to listen to. Because I think many people here skip reading what you wrote and will just look at the pic and recommend something.

1.) So its abnormal that they are already dying?
2.) Ya i think its still recovering from the trauma... but the plant is still alive you think?
3.) I haven't added any fert. yet, they told me only at 3 weeks to start.
4.) Ok thanks for the tipp...

Ya its true most people don't read I noticed that already :/ but i really need help!!! And i'm worried for my baby sooo much! :(
Do you think I should throw out the current soil i have I bought it in a garden centre... and buy a different soil and replant?

That first set of little round leaves, can't think of the name but it generally dies after the first two sets of leaves come out, that's normal, what size pot? looks to be a little large for such a small plant, it will spend most of it's energy growing roots, especially if she lost part of her roots as you say, what soil is that? no, don't feed her nutes for some time, she's too small and your soil should have nutes in it already.

Ahhh good thank god i thought my plant was tripping out... good that this is normal
Its my stupid friend who claimed to know about marijuana grow he said its fine to put her into the pot ... its a 10L pot (about 2.6 Galons)
Should i take her out and replant her into a smaller container or leave her for a while?
I bought soil from the hydroshop it had no name or anything also added around 10-20% Perlite i think it wasnt enough....
DeeTee what should I do, you seem to know what my next step should be... btw should i add another light maybe???
Also i havent watered it in 2 days... how much water should i give her and when?

I'm not a soil man, but I think you'd be better off transplanting it in a small container, like maybe a sollo cup 'till it's roots are well established, just my opinion tho, I wouldn't water for a while as long as it's in such a large pot, it will take some time for the soil to dry a little, I think for that little baby one light is enough for now, keep it as close as possible 2 to 3", you should have a small fan, not too big, running 24/7 for constant air circulation as well as jiggling the plant will help strengthen the stem, you don't mention if you do,..hope this helps and best of luck with your grow, take care of her, she'll reward you in the end.

BTW forgot to mention, hope you have good drainage, it's important to not drown her.

The problem is im afraid to damage the roots when I put her in the pot :S, I damaged them last time when i tried to make him stand upright again... >/
I won't water it at all for now, my fan is running 20/4 atm I will run it 24/7 now.

Did you see the pot i have? it is all holes all over the place in order for air to get in and water to get our lemme make a picture for you:
You think this is a good one, the hydroshop recommended it for air circulation and avoiding overwatering the plant.

I've seen those pots before and I think they work well for drainage, didn't realize in the pics, that should be fine, I understand your fear in repotting, therefore I'd say let it go and just watch you feeding so as not to drown it, of course because of the size of the pot your plant will take some time to grow, as I said it will spend most of it's energy growing roots, so have patients.

. The problem is that it's a auto flowering northern lights strain if it will take too long to grow as you mentioned I might end up with a plant that flowers too early right? Or will the plant know that she is too small yet to start flowering? Does the plant know to bus by size or age with auto flowering seeds?

One thing that I had noticed in your picture is that you have a fluorescent light directly on top of the plant hung in a vertical fashion. It is completely fine hanging your lights this way and most people actually have great success with these types of gardens but the light isn't going to be strongest directly under the bulb like you have it. I would try and move the pot a little bit to the left or right so that the light it receives emits from the side of the bulb where most of the fluorescent coil is located. I think that doing so will result in the plant receiving much more light which in return will make the plant much more happy!
