So I haven't grown in like 10 years! I still remember the basics though. Iv'e only done outdoor but just purchased a 1000w LED, It covers 3.5ftx3.5ft. I have some autoflowering seeds coming in the mail, So let's start from the beginning. Im building my own soil instead of premade. I'm thinking 1 part blood 1 part bone meal 2 parts decent peat based topsoil pearlite and an acid neutrilizer for nutrient absorbtion. I may be way off base but it seems okay to me! Any suggestions on the soil, Or anything in general? Once I get this covered i'll move on to the next part with you guys!

Dude that's way off. 50/50 bone &blood meal and soil.... I used to use bone & blood meal and it wa a few tbs. per gallon of soil. Now i buy something more diverse.

Only a few bucks more for the happy frog and it's a lot more diverse.

I think happy frog or ffof add 25% perlite for drainage and aeration some ppl go higher with the perlite but it’s completely up to you just don’t want you to over complicate things and you just coming back to the game lol

Why would I use such a minimal amount to the point where it wouldnt matter anymore? Im TRYING for a strong enriched soil. If I wanted a low NPK content i'd go buy miracle grow. Im looking to NOT feed at all. I know my ratios are off, but not far off for what i'm looking for. Now lets say the bloodmeal is 35-0-0. What would i really achieve in using a micro dose of it? I would end up with like a .5/?/?soil. Thats not what I need.

I use just water till flower and have never built anything anywhere near that hot. I'd be willing to bet your recipe would burn them up. There is also little to no k. Miracle grow would be a better option. (I can't believe I said that) (not a fan of anything mg)

With that soil you were gonna build you would be back in a few weeks asking about plant problems.
