400w and 2 gallon smart pots n fresh soil arrived, I had anticipated a bit bigger pots for 2 gallons, will purchase a few bigger 5 gallon smart pots, I think I was expecting FL gallons or something, not really sure what the deal is there but they are good enough for the 2 side plants for this first grow, I am going to keep biggest one in the tupperware, it is about 2x bigger then the 2 gallon smart pots, and has worked well so far, I took plant out and filled bottom 6-7 inches with fresh soil, and to give full potential to the female plant. Should be good for another 10 inches before I need to start flowering nutes on the most mature, want to keep her around 5ish, not much bigger. Tnx for the help.

Coming along now with all the nutrients and other issues out of the way, day 58 of veg, topped twice, minor lst. I don't really know what to expect to be honest, she went through alot during first few weeks but hoping she'll be decent bagseed. About 18 inches tall, probably will flip soon as I only have 400w hps plus 150w hps supplemental, don't know if I'm going to bother running 135w LED or not, will see how it takes shape during first flowering experience.

Roughly day 65 for most mature plant, majority of yellow older deficient leaves have fallen off, will not prune anything this time around considering I don't really know how buds will form until I enter my first flowering stage, seems to be rather cleared down there anyway, temps n airflow are ok, waiting on calmag and ppm meter with onagel, then can flip for first flowering and start my first non bagseed grow.

I feel confident enough to not let the leaves get deficient this time around so looking at a few non autos to try, after my first veg experience with bag seed I'm leaning towards trying non auto for first grow so I can stay in veg and try to prevent problems from early stage of last grow from reoccurring this grow, as I've seen from past threads, autos are not forgiving if environment is bad there isn't as much time to fix it on my end considering I was ordering things from the net as I went as far as unforseen problems. Calmag def., ppm/ph meter, onagel, timer, strings n mats for lst/screens, and a gazillion other little things you don't really consider being a first time grower with small ambitions.

Current priority until I get calmag here is to maintain healthy new growth, the leaves that did become deficient seemed to be random, and not at bottom or top but rather one here and one there. After a few days the stem was noticably redder then any slight hue on the healthy green leafs' stems, fall off themselves within day or two of decomposing with air currents. Will update when I flip I suppose, one plant is suspected intersex, the other two including most mature are females, swollen calyxes with hairs coming out . I'm not too disappointed for a first bagseed grow, although I did loose a good 10-15% of leaves around lower portion as you can notice.

Flipped both females left, fully to 12/12. Intersex was tossed out, started blue venom seedling that I got out of a 150$ bag of medical, hoping shes female.
Coming shy of 3 feet by few inches, lil skimpy on leaves, did minor LST, topped/fimmed 4 times.

The Baby blue venom broke soil 1 day ago. Staying under 100w cfl while other girls go in the dark 12 hours.



Got calmag in thankfully, have fed the plants. Not added to blue venoms water yet.

2nd Female, did not LST this one, grew extremely bushy and only experimented with LST on other female, she is quite a mess and not stretching as much as the other female, hoping I can lst something on it if it stretches little more.

Bigger female is under 400w, the smaller bushy is under 150 and moved up close.

Everything is ok for now, hoping I can improve on LST abit, the topping seemed to go well; so thats a plus.

Day 13 of 12/12 [2 bag seed strains]





Blue venom [roughly 11 days since sprout], decided to try topping a bit earlier then last few females, will try to train alot more on her, might just make into journal now as its got to the point where I am not having any more progressing problems with the grow. gn & ty to riu for help to get beginner grows outta the way before legalization hits my state next year in november. Will hopefully have all the basic kinks worked out, just gotta improve equipment in general, bigger pots, lst mats ect. Maybe try a lil organic mix when I feel comfortable with veg-flower on random strains using synthetics.

Last update on this thread, has been moved to blog/journal entries instead; tnx for the help through the first seedling/veg process.
