The plants aren’t transpiring properly due to the low temps, and LED lights, as others have mentioned.
LED grows really need to be 80 degrees or more for transpiration to occur.
If the plants can’t breathe properly they aren’t going to smell properly.
I don’t know how long you’ve been using LED but this is part of their learning curve.
VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) is real.

@Bad Karma hey it's the first time i'm using Quantum Boards, before i used COB Vero29, i've studied about VPD and my kPa is normal at least from the calculator i'm at 1.39 kPa which is pretty decent to flowering stage don't you think ?

@waterproof808 At least i'm not the only person in the world who had this issue... I will sleep better this night...

@oill Damn at this point i really wished it was covid ... Hahaha :( not the case...

I've flowered plants through the middle of winter under LED at temps as low as 10c not sure what that is in Fh and humidity as low as 30% and they have stank like all fuck.
I had plants that have smelt less in the heat of summer.
That doesn't mean what you said above is not true just an observation I've made over time.

@ebcrew So you would say is a no-terp weed ? ... I'm finnaly seeing other people with beautifull buds with poor quality in terms of smell... I'm not the only one to have this kind of issue which leads me to consider even more the genetic side.

It was a freebie, and I couldnt find anyone else on the internet that grew the strain. Hope it will come through after dry and trim.

yep- min 26 degrees (78-80 Feh)- max 29 maybe 30 degrees(82-86 Feh), , personally prefer 26.5-27.5 degrees max suits my grow rooms and they way I grow ,it will be different for others but a good bench mark for leds

If anything the lower temps would help preserve the terps.

But, I wouldnt give up on Exotic. Mike puts out some great crosses.

Also, they could develop with with the cure. Got my fingers crossed for ya.

Ya those look good man, have to ask- when you squeeze a top bud do you get aromas on you fingers? Go long and slow for the dry, I like my rh% at 58-60. I haven't seen any hay smelling phenos since back in the day barney's farms and greenhouse seeds runs.

I'd love to find plants that don't smell strong, every harvest is a nightmare and swapping filters every grow is frustrating.

Ive had plants that didn't smell much while growing but showed out in the jar...I too was concerned n thought it was odd...the ole lady could smell em tho...maybe get a fresh nose in there

Exactly, my winter runs are the best. I found my keeper of OGKB x Purple Punch during winter, one was super terpy & the other had little smell but was tasty in vape after cure. It wasn't louder than my keeper but it had a richer kushy smell. To me the cooler weather helps keep the terps like Tangerine said before

I’d turn of the extractor/carbon filter , go back to your room an hour later and have a good whiff. I’ve had Covid and couldn’t smell shitttt. I’d get tested personally even if your not showing other symptoms. The stage there at there’s still time to go so and from experience a lot of the funky smells we love become a lot stronger right near the end.

There are some strains with no terps. I don't know about Exotics stuff but I know from experience that a lot of Platinum crosses from In House look beautiful but have no terps at all. I grew a lot out where some phenos would smell good and strong and some wouldn't smell at all but it was pretty common to have about half of them to not have a smell whatsoever. The Platinum Kush Breath/Remix has been good terps wise, but the Platinum Jelly, Dosi and Garlic all had a LOT less terps to no terps at all in a lot of them I grew out.

Lol he doesn't have covid just bc no smell on the plants. I'd say its the plants, smoke um & move on. Personally if I don't get good terps early on than I can know what to expect later on. Can't say I've had a low smelling plant go from 0 to 100 later in flower, not my keepers at least. The cure improves it but if the terps aren't there then they just aren't there
