Bad Smell to my Dried Marijuan

All, My first post... here I go. I've grown marijuana outside several times. Each time, the weed smells good and has visible crystals when it is alive. But after I dry it... it smells like grass clippings, not like dank weed. The seeds are from a reputable seed bank. There is no visible mold on the dried marijuana. Anyone got any suggestions? Thanks!

Review and research curing technique. What you are experiencing is typical of marijuana that has been dried too fast. You can bring your aroma back with mason jars. Toss your bud in the jars and open the jar for 5-10 min per day, allowing the air to exchange at that point. Keep your jars in the dark. Little by little it will begin to smell decent again. It may take a week or two. Good luck

agree with above, but youre sure its not a strain or pheno related smell, have you checked other smoke reports on the strain ect or emailed the breeder,

if it as dired to fast, rehydrate the bud by placing fresh cut fan leafs over the bud thats in a jar, close it follow above and then take away the leafs once the bud as retained some moisture and cure,

just finished some afternoon delight with my Lady then I saw and read aloud the " Bad Smell" Thread title.
when the laughing stopped and the pillows stopped being thrown I choked out "it says the Pot smelled bad not U!

aim for a 14 day dry period. usually youlll maybe make it to day 9 or 10 then have to jar... maximizing dry time means adjusting things to prevent mold by still allowing air flow through
