bag seed cfl :(

i thought i would start with something easy and cheap ill post pics of it when i can figure out my camera

but its basicly a cardboard box with tinfoil taped on the sides with a 13w cfl hanging about an inch over the plant the weed is bagseed and it could be anything from shit brownfrown to afgan kush

i was wondering if i should get a bigger cfl and if i need ventilation

please post coments on anything even hate mail is welcome i dont care if i get any bud out of the one plant crop i just need to learn as much as possible!

I would definately go for more CFL's - personally I do four 27w CFL's for vegging. I wouldn't do tinfoil, but a cheap alternative would be emergency blanket - found at Wal-Mart for 2.88 in the camping section. Can't really say about ventillation - depends on your temps and airflow. I would get a small fan in there, not blowing directly on the plants but close, it will help the stems strengthen. Lastly - care. You won't learn much if you blow it off because it's bagseed. You could wind up with some decent bud, and even more valuable experience from it.

you need some more cfl's for sure. use 6500 kelvin for veg (at least 2 or 3 26 watter's), then switch to 2700 kelvin for flowering (use at least 4 26 watter's). if you use the correct lighting you will need to pull that hot air out or you will cook your plants. also, tin foil eats up light. use reflective tape or mylar or poly or one of those silver things that keeps sun out of your car windshield !!!
