these are my two plants.
i have them growing under 5 27 watt cfls and one 47 watt cfl flood light.
they have been flowering for 16 days.







they look pretty good for day 16 dont they?

they were on 18/24 for 2 weeks almost 3 i believe then i switched to 12/12.
i also have 2 more females thats have been on 12/12 from seed. im not to sure about the soil but im using schultz 20-20-20 for nutrients. and ya the actual wattage of the lights is 27 and 47watts... it says they have an output of 100 watts but thats just useless info.

two of my lights exploded in my grow box this morning so im hoping that doesn't fuck them up somehow... anyone heard of this before? any possible reason why two lights that having bin running fine for over two weeks would just explode into a million pieces all over my plants?

Those bulbs contain mercury. It is not good. Whatever you do, DONT use a vaccuum cleaner. It will pick up the crap and put out dust that will go right thru the bag and into the air. Sweep it up gently and I would recommend a face/breathing mask. Did it get on the plants?

Either they are inferior bulbs, or the socket is incorrect. I doubt the second as these plug into a normal light socket. That is weird tho. Never had a bulb explode altho I have heard of it happening.

i swept al much up as i could . and ya the glass got all over the top of the one plant because the lights were hanging about 2 inchs above it. i think something happened when the timer turned the light on because i checked them last night right before 7 when they went off and it was fine but at 8 this morning right after the lights turned on i checked and it was all fucked.
