no wwhat I can tell you about the herbalaire is that, it has no breakable parts like that except the knob (which is the same kind of knob they have on guitar pedals, hella sturdy.) I've dropped it like 10 times and it still works perfectly. so if thats a problem for you I'd highly suggest the unit with the fewest breakable parts.....
