Hey All,

I just completed setting up my Aerogarden in my cabnet setup i built. I will be using a Aerogarden with a 10 gal. Aquarium pump with a 10 Inch airstone in the resivor. The clones were donated by a friend.

The cabnet is approx 2'Wx3'Lx4'H the whole inside has been sealed and painted flat white and a modified air purifier with a carbon filter attached has been installed to blow the air out. (still have to install one blowing in). I also made the front of the cabnet as stock looking as posiable so it looked like a regular ol green cabnet.

I will be using distilled water as i have heard it holds a good PH and will be using Dutchmaster One Nutrients. (anyone have any experience with these?) and i will be using rockwool as my grow medium.

All comments and advice is welcomed!

Would you reccomend running them on a 24 hr light cycle or 20/4 clones were cut the 9th.

I don't know much about clones yet, but it seems you got it going pretty well. Make sure you follow the feeding schedule that your nutes recommends.

Other than that, good luck bro! I'll be watchin.:bigjoint:

Very stealth dude. Not too sure on clones, but I recommend 20/4 from seed as opposed to 24hrs. Also, I found that several small airstones spread throughout the bottom of the rez was more effective than one 10in. With the 10in I had to have it pushed all the way up toward the front of the AG and when the water level gets low it would no longer be submerged. Just something to think about. Good luck, I'm subscribed :)

I would say 20/4 also, then switch to 18/6 after a week. That's what I did for both my grows and it worked pretty well.

I recommend using a few 5 or 6 inch stones. I have 3 6 inch stones that I use and they work great.

righton sicc. thanks for thereply. when/if is it good to do that. heard even just reg water misting can help.

also. I will be adding 6 23 watt 6500k cfls in the cabnet and will replace them with the soft white when we go 12/12.

I will post some pics tomm of the progress(hate having to bust out the laptop)

Cool, sounds like your lighting setup will be pretty solid. More than I've got :) . And I say avoid foilar feeding this early on. In fact, the benifits of foilar feeding compared to the risks it could pose with mold and whatnot make me think you might not want to do it at all. The fact that you're going with a hydro setup and good nutes should be plenty 'nuff for a cabinet grow. Spraying water in there might lead to an overly humid cabinet.

Distilled, RO and many bottled waters have no calcium, so make sure your nutes do.I have an AG as well and used FoxFarm nutes that have no calcium. I developed rust spots. I added cal mag and problem is clearing up. Just check your nute content to be sure.
