I used ffof and am worried this soil may be too hot for a baby seed. I’d say it’s about 2-3 weeks old.
The first leaves initially started clawing at the tips. Then new growth is just all very droopy.
I keep them on a 18/6 light schedule with with a 50 w led full spectrum bulb. The light is generally about 6 inches from it but I have been adjusting the height with no improvement the past couple days.
Temp with lights off can get pretty cool but I don’t think it’s an issue being it never gets below 65. During lights on the temp ranges from 70-78 degrees.
Humidity i keep around 40-60%
I have not been using any Nutes and I did water til runoff maybe twice but leaves were clawing before then. Since then I have put the plant in dry soil and watered it lightly. It perked up like an hour after Repotting but leaves drooped back down shortly after and still hasn’t recovered.
I’m concerned it’s the soil and am unsure what to do other than get some other kind and repot.

Transplant to s larger container and do not water for a few days.

I would just let her ride it out. It's not so strong that you are getting leaf tip burn. She will grow into it before you know it.

Ocean forest is wayyy too hot for seedlings. It’s showing it with the dark clawed leaves. Happy frog is more suitable for seedlings. When you transplant her go with the size pot you will finish her in, fill the bottom 1/3 of the bucket/pot with ocean forest and the rest with happy frog. She’ll be fine. Might wanna move that led Alil farther away too

Up potting can solve a myriad of issues. It always surprises me how much better they look even after 24 hours of doing so. As far as the claw it should adjust to the higher N content of FFOF in time.

I already had it repotted into a dry medium then lightly misted the soil with water. it’s still not showing any improvement. I will try a bigger pot and get back to you guys.
thanks for the suggestions

If you are not using Mykos or Great White or some other beneficial innoculant I recommend you think about it. Even in medium with it present. When I transplant I not only break up the mass I’m transplanting well but I sprinkle Mykos all over the roots after I do. Try it. You’ll be impressed at the growth.

This. ⬆
I use a product called endo 4. You can find it on amazon. I can’t emphasize enough making your way into Organics. It’s somewhat plug and play. The mykos enable the plant to uptake nutrients in the soil quicker that would otherwise take more time to break down and become available. Personally I’m new to the whole organic process but the benefits are noticeable in a rather short amount of time. If you can look into getting a worm bin. EWC are another important piece of the puzzle.

I've ran ocean forest on all my seedlings, never too hot for mine. I've never lost a seedling in it and I've been perpetual growing for 2 years.

That girl is overwatered... 100%

Don't have to change the pot, but make sure you got a fan going so the air will move around the top of the pot to reduce the moisture quicker.

You could drill some holes up and down the pot, around it all to help get air to the soil to dry it out a bit faster if you want, but you don't need to.... just time.

Ok i put it in dry soil yesterday I will give it a couple days to use up the little water it has and update. Should I be worried about water ph when I do have to water? I’ve seen mixed answers an the topic. I know my tap water has a ph of 8.4 which From my understanding is too alkaline

Soil typically has buffers in it like lime that adjust the ph. I’m not sure about FFOF others could answer better. Personally I do adjust ph of water just because I’d rather one less thing to stress over.

So I ended up putting her in a half gallon pot with fresh soil and added a tbsp of Dolomite lime then watered lightly with Superthrive at 2 drops per 200 ml. She’s Looking very droopy at this point but hopefully will perk up in the next few days. I wasn’t able to find any of mykos or anything at Lowe’s best I could find was the Superthrive. Also Does anyone grow with say just a bagged topsoil mixed with perlite and some lime?

Dude you really have to stop watering your plant.

You think it is dry??? Wait until the leaves actually fall straight against the stem. Pick up the pot then... that is actually dry. Learn to water it just before that happens.

Killing it with love, your plant is telling you to back the fuck off and let her breath!

How are the roots looking , because a plant could look unhappy and have a good root system to bounce back from , if your roots arent as healthy or developing as it should then it could be that ,
