CFL's should not be used, even for house hold lighting, because they give off quite a bit of radiation. CFL's give off more radiation than any other type of bulb. CFL's are bad for the environment.Naw, 400 watt MH from the very beginning. It's been about 3 weeks or so, maybe less and they have done MUCH BETTER then under CFL's. I highly recommend it for anyone on their next grow. Just started a low dose of NPK today because they are already needing it this early. I'm going to try and transplant to their final pots tomorrow. I'm going with the same size pots and FF Ocean Forest soil.
